“I reached out to them about serving food for a company event and they were AMAZING. Very kind people and they did a great job, and their food is delicious! Another food truck bailed on us last minute and Roadside Tacos helped pick up their slack and ended up serving more people than anticipated. No one left hungry. I will definitely keep them in mind for future events!“

“Just went here because I live next-door and I was hoping they would accept Apple Pay but they only took cash so I had to go out to my car and I told the owner I only had five bucks on me and so he hooked me up with extra tacos in a free soda and it’s some of the most delicious food I’ve ate in a very long time definitely go there“

“Omg! Food was AMAZING! Pupusas were delicious, the cabbage you put on top of them was fire. I thought I had $20 worth of food, was only $10! Lady was extremely sweet and I loved the whole interaction from walking in to door hungry to walking out with some of the best food I’ve eaten. I’ll be back tomorrow!“

“We’ve been meaning to go to veggie thumper for quite some time and finally decided to go tonight! We had the samosas, Frisco melt, Philly cheesesteak, nachos and the chocolate cheesecake, we were blown away by each and every dish! Highly highly recommend!“

“I love this place, and no it's not because of it being walking distance from my house. It has to do with the amazing service and food. The buche (pork stomach) is sent from God himself. I will forever be indebted to the wonderful flavors and smells of this place for teaching me how to truly live.“

“This is one of the best taquerias in Des Moines,, hands down!l everything was fresh and made to order, didn’t seem like the meat had been in warmers, everything was perfectly crispy.Make sure to ask for the avocado salsa! Every Friday birria tacos are 1.50- 2.00 with cheese! You also get jalapeño cucumber and radish with your tacos, no one does that anymore,!“

“Delicious food & fast, friendly service! We ordered the quesabirria and the choripollo & both were so amazing! Everything was made fresh & they still had it all ready in less than 10 minutes. They included the red & green salsas, even threw in sautéed onions & peppers! They also provided silverware & napkins, which most places forget. They were super accommodating & helpful explaining different menu items! 11/10 - definitely recommend! We will be back! One of the best food trucks in Des Moines!“

“This the BEST food truck in Des Moines PERIOD. I've been going to this truck for as long as I can remember, back when the Duke of oil was there. DOMT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO ANY OTHER TRUCK. In my opinion this is the only REAL food truck. Every other one tries to do what this truck did 10 years ago. Prices are unbeatable, the burrito is the size of my thigh, BRING CASH.“

“I think they have good street tacos and good honest people there! I accidentally left my phone and that nice lady actually noticed and put it up for me ... there' was kind of a language barrier when I was there earlier ordering food..but when I went back we both understood that hand action where we use our hands as the telephone so she knew exactly what I meant..oh yeah hugs are Universal to and I had to give her a great big one for keeping my phone for me when she found it... Id like to say thank you to her......“
