“My husband and I have eaten at Aura at least 5 times. We've also hosted group dinners there. The food is FANTASTIC, and the mussels are absolutely delicious. And I'm from the NW, I know delicious mussels! The ONLY thing keeping me from giving it a 5 STAR review is that the music is too loud, and it's monotonous. Please, serve quiet, enjoyable music to go along with your wonderful food.“

“10/10. This place nailed it. Had the double smash burger upgraded the fries. The burger was everything you'd ever want from a burger. Way better than Zombie burger and for me a step above Lucilles. The atmosphere reminds me of a quiet cafe off of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Just a quiet laid back no hurry vibe. Will definitely be returning.“

“The atmosphere and drinks are top notch. I can't say the same for service. Apparently it is acceptable to not ask if our group would like anything else AND for the tab to be tossed on our table while walking by? Yes, I am still that person that tips at least 20% because I understand we all have "off" days but that is no excuse. It would have been 100% if the service was there.“

“Only had drinks, no food so can't rate that. Fun entrance to get in, then stairs to the lower level. Dimmed lighting provides a good atmosphere to enjoy drinks and relax.

Watched the quartet set up their instruments and get tuned up. They started at 8pm and more people filtered in as they started playing. Great group, wished we could have stayed longer.

Great venue, the drinks were excellently made, and the staff was attentive without being pushy. Highly recommend for those looking for live music and delicious drinks with the vibe of days gone by.“

“Rooms were a bit on the small size. There was not enough closet space or dressers for clothes. We only had three in the room and we had to use our suite cases to keep our clothes in. The beds were comfortable. Service on the concierge level was outstanding. The banquet meals were over priced and not worth the money we paid for them.“

“I stopped in here this last weekend for the first time while bar-hopping in East Village. It’s probably my favorite bar I’ve tried so far. This place has a really unique theme and the darker, gritty atmosphere was really fun! They even had someone spinning vinyl, which I thought was a really nice touch! The staff were all very prompt and friendly and took the time to chat with me and make me feel comfortable all the while being attentive to the rest of the patrons. I will definitely be coming back soon!“

I had an amazing experience at this bar, all thanks to Janie! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Not only is she super friendly, but she’s also a true expert when it comes to crafting drinks. She made the perfect cocktail tailored to my taste, and it was delicious. Throughout the night, she was attentive, efficient, and really made sure everyone had a great time. Janie is definitely one of the reasons I’ll keep coming back. Highly recommend her service if you’re ever here!“
