“Usually go here weekdays and it's great. Good experienced staff make a sandwich as you expect. Weekends are different. Usually staffed by teenagers of varying quality. Some of them clearly don't give a damn one bit. Go for weekdays and stay away on weekends“
“I hate to beat up McDonald's because the folks working there are trying. Let's just admit Ronald is dead and these employees don't get the support they deserve because franchise owners aren't really giving them what they need. McDonald's isn't a career job for most so give them a break as this is entry level work and the employees are growing into more stable and permanent environments. This visit the fryers were broken so no crispy chicken for me.“
“Best Arby's ever! If you are looking for an Arby's to go to in Ames or even Iowa come here. The food is good, but the service is great. I like to come on the weekends after a busy week that's when the workers are the nicest. Even though they are closing the workers still take time to put you first. When I don't have time to socialize I go through the drive through. they always get me on my way in a couple of seconds. Every time I come here they have smiles on their faces, and I always make sure to ring that bell to remind them they are doing a great job.Thank you weekend closing Arby's employees!“
“I’m not sure if they’ve changed their pork tenderloin breading recipe, but it was definitely different than the last time I ate here. Chunks of what look like saltine crackers in the breading. And they’d been fried too long, they were very tough. It’s a shame because when I was here in 2021 it was the best pork tenderloin in Iowa! Fried mushrooms and the shake were good, though!“
