“Cute little place to stop. Takes you back in time to an old candy store with ice cream sundaes, floats & more. Lots of fun candy to look at. Places to sit inside and a bench outside. We went at the end of the day so they were out of two different ice cream flavors. We took our kids and they thought it was neat. If you are looking for “something different” or get the “we’re bored”, give this a try.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly as in there is lots to look at. If they struggle with touching everything, maybe not ?. The bar stools next to the ice cream freezer are high, so more for 6+ year olds without supervision.“

“We decided, as we drove by, to stop in and see what this place was about. It was a really nice environment (kind of like Molly's Cupcakes). I tried the "Molly's Mashup", where the take a cupcake, split it in half, and put ice cream in between with a topping (I opted for red velvet cupcake with strawberry lemonade sorbet with whipped cream) and he tried a double scoop of mixed berry swirl ice cream. The awesome thing about the mixed berry swirl was it had pieces of vanilla cupcake in it. We were satisfied with what we got and plan to try a different combination the next time we come!!!“

“Today I stopped in with my 8th grade softball team. I think it was Taylor (one of my girls thought she read that) she was working by herself and she did absolutely amazing! She took care of all 17 girls and 2 coaches. She was very polite and calm. That many orders she handled it very well. It’s always fun to stop by after playing and get a nice cold treat! :)“

“I have come to this location many times and the employees are always very friendly and efficient!! The only downside to this crumbl bakery would be the location it is in such a bad spot and the parking is always super busy and very tight. I’ve almost been hit multiple times by people parking basically on top of my car.“

“Great service. We were asked if we qualify for the senior discount. No one had ever asked us that before. We do. So, received a 10% discount. The blizzards were good but looks like the medium size is not as big as in the past. Not surprising

“Menchie's Frozen yogurt is a great treat. I like that it has no preservatives and no additives. It has a great variety of flavors. I'm so glad I found a good frozen yogurt place. I also love the friendly staff.“

“Their frozen Paletas are the best! They have tons of different flavors and whichever one you choose will not disappoint, the atmosphere is friendly and they have great artwork inside as well. Make sure to come down and give them a visit!“

“This is in a predominately Latino strip mall so a lot of the staff don't speak much English but I can usually get by on hand gestures. The paletas (popsicles) are really good here! I usually get the "fresa con crema" which is strawberries and cream. They also do a lot of other novelty foods which I haven't tried yet, but they seem very popular! They also have hand-scooped ice cream but I'm not sure if it's made in-house or not. Apparently, that was very good and creamy!“

“amazing chill atmosphere as well as staff. The food is great. I actually cried on my way home from the genuin kindness the cashier showed me on a hard day. 10/10 recommend. the iced coffee and Americono are my go to. My bf likes the espresso. WHO EVER WORKED TONIGHT THANK YOU!!!“

“The inside is beautiful, with plants and how the tables are arranged. They even have a little area where board games were located.
I got the gelato three scoops regular strawberry and green tea. The strawberry was a bit sour but the... ????? ???!!!? was soooooo smooth(that I forgot Im lactose intolerant) having both helped balance it out. 10/10 recommend ?“

“The milk tea & boba are great; a bit expensive though. I did get a bit confused on where to order, although I did end up finding it after a minute or two. There were a bunch of people there, took about 5-7 minutes for my drink to be done despite the amount of people. Only criticism I would give is the cost, $7 for a milk tea with boba in it is pretty expensive. (For me, at least.)“

“We live on the north side of Des Moines & this is the ONLY Dairy Queen we go too. Altoona & Ankeny both don't come close to comparing to this one. We went again today & everything was perfect. Hot food and friendly employees, don't get any better then that. Thanks to everyone who works here & the Owner. GOOD JOB😁“
