“Stopped in for dinner and drinks before retiring to the hotel. So Glad we did! The Margarita flight was so good. we ordered the bruchetta, Philly, Burger and wings...Was the best meal on my whole trip. Also have off to my server, she was the nicest and most patient young lady!!“

“Came in after a school basketball game to eat and had 2 little kids with us. Staff was extremely friendly and food came out very quick even though they were busy. We were checked on in a timely manner to make sure we were ok and had full drinks. We will definitely be going back when we are in the area.“

“We were going to a concert Sunday night and found Cliffs as we were walking down the street . We got our food quickly, the sandwiches were delicious as well as the broccoli cheese soup 😁 will definitely be back 😁“

“I love this Pub! The food is great, the drinks are on point, and the staff is amazingly friendly and approachable. Even the regulars are well-behaved and sociable. I used to eat here with the old management, and I'm not saying the new management is an improvement.. but it is definitely not a downgrade, either. If you are nearby, hands down my number one recommendation. Even if you are across town, I recommend making the drive!“

“Small town bars are the best. This one is located in my hometown. Everybody knows Everybody, great close knit atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a beer garden for smokers or non smokers.If you're ever in the area, stop by!“

“*Very* local-focused spot. The food was good but the wait was a bit long. The bartenders were nice, and the locals friendly enough although the open karaoke made it not the most strangers-friendly night.
Make sure to note, it's a cash only bar!“

We will most certainly be back.Plus they have a plethora of TV screens so if there's a game on, you can watch the game as well!“

“Great atmosphere and friendly staff. They have great karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9pm. Drinks are reasonably priced and is a feel good down home atmosphere! Wonderful place to relax plus watch the game too!“
“So fun! Pretty laid back during the week, then gets busy at the weekend. The owner Kurt, is a long-time bar owner (since '82 I believe), is a very personable guy who knows his industry! He can give tons of historical info on establishments in Cedar Rapids downtown area.“

“Loved this place but it has gone down hill. Service was horrible. Food cold. 3 people standing at hostress stand, 1 being the manager. I went up and asked for some ketchup that we had been waiting for about 15 minutes. 3 out of 7 in our party had finished their meals. The manager was nasty to me stating "We are Busy" He did get it but by then the sandwhich wasn't good.“
“My first visit to the corner pocket was on Saturday afternoon. It was relatively quiet. Only a few tables were taken. It was nice to have a place to shoot a few games of pool that's not too loud and obnoxious. We had a problem with a couple of the tables but the bar staff was very accommodating. The drinks were good. I would call this a friendly atmosphere. They have regular pool leagues, both men and women. They have 10 or 11 tables so you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot unless it's a league night.“

Parking: The road is blocked on Centerpoint for now. But it was easy to go around.“

“Truly a gem in Cedar Rapids. The food is spectacular - if you are looking for fresh authentic Mexican food that tastes like it was made by family, this is your spot. Our family especially enjoys burritos and quesadillas. The prices are very reasonable as well. 5/5 absolutely recommend!“

“Great spot down by the Cedar River. I am a big fan of Czech Pilsners and insisted we make time for a lunch and a beer there. What a great time; chatted it up with the locals and the bartender on an early Friday afternoon. I ordered the goulash and dumplings and my darling ordered a pork tenderloin. Both were great but hers was exceptional. Solid selection of Czech beers, Czechvar being my favorite. Reasonable tab for food and drinks and a nice friendly visit with locals to boot in an authentic old-school tavern. If you visit be sure to have them point out how high the flood waters got in the 2008 downpours.“

“Italian beef was superb! Next time I would try stuffed pizza, just didn't have time. Stopped thru quick on a road trip and glad we took a chance on this place not knowing anything about it. Great staff, chef came up to us to ask how it was. Melody was our bartender/server and she was amazing!“
