“Stopped in after a long night at band practice. We all just wanted to quick grab a drink and some grub before heading off to our homes. Got some amazing wings, burgers, a hot roast beef sandwich and French dip. Food and service was spot on. Our quick stop kept us there for about 2 hours enjoying our food and the hospitality of our servers. Definitely going to start making Vally Inn a regular stop.“

“My husband and I live little over an hour away. We enjoy coming to the quad cities often. We by chance decided to try out Monarch Kitchen + Bar based off of their rating. All I can say is I am so impressed. Impressed with the care and quality of food. The wait staff are amazing. I am a person who doesn’t use seed oils at home. To know I can go out and eat somewhere and know the ingredients are fresh and good for you means everything. We stayed two days and ate there for lunch and came back the next day for dinner. We loved the lo mein and the garlic aioli fries, but honestly everything we tried was amazing. It is now our new favorite restaurant in the quad cities. We will definitely be back and will tell our friends. Thank you for making our trip even more special!“

“The first time I walked into this adorable cafe I immediately fell in love. It is beautiful inside. So clean and the decor is precious. Service was top-notch, and the food….the food was delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and portion sizes were spot-on. Try the ahi! That sauce is 🤤🤤🤤“

“I love this restaurant so much. I love the rotating menu with new seasonal dishes and fan favorites. I love the location in a historic home. I love the owner and staff and how hard they work to serve good food in a welcoming atmosphere. Some of my favorite dishes include the pickle soup, garlic salad, salmon sandwich, meatloaf, lobster bisque, Reuben sandwich, orange crepes, and (right now) the crawfish Étouffée. I love the local beer and wine selection as well as Mandy’s bloody marys. This is such a special restaurant and I’m so glad it is a part of our community.“

“Some good food, very affordable, and great people that served me. If you can look past the paper and plastic tableware and no bathroom if you stay. By what I ate was very good if you love tenderloin and your a hungry man get the Grandaddy tenderloin you may not need fries my friend. Great place for family had dinner tonight for $45 I would have spent 70 at McDonald’s for smaller amount of food. Maybe a little wait for food if they are busy but no more than ten minutes last time.

Parking: There are a few places to park in front of building

“Very friendly clean place. Great deal on MOnday Burger meal -$6.00. Fries are to die for. Sit near the bar area very relaxing . If you have a hearing impairment request that area. Little easier to hear than in the bigger room which has more echo . I was very impressed. Went back two days later. Two thumbs up!!!!

“Last night we went to Chevin's Kitchen and Catering located inside Kavanaugh’s Hilltop Bar and Grill in Rock Island. This is the second time we have stopped in recently for the daily special. We are so glad we did. From the prompt greeting by the servers and bar staff to the made to order burger sliders with fresh cut fries everything was AMAZING! Our servers were on top of it and so friendly. The food was GREAT! If you haven’t checked this place out yet or if you have forgotten about one of the oldest bars in the neighborhood don’t snooze on this! Great food and great service! “Rather than stop at one of the busy chains, I decided to have my meal at the airport prior to my flight. It was a good choice. First, my server Pam was outstanding. She was attentive and professional. The restaurant is calm and quiet, and there is lots of room. The meal was cooked just as ordered, with eggs, sausage potatoes and an English Muffin. The prices are very reasonable. Next time in Quad Cities International, I'll eat here again.“

“We chose Beef + Bourbon for our anniversary dinner yesterday. We made reservations ahead of time, and made a note with the reservation that it was our anniversary dinner. I'll get my disappointment over with first and move on to all of good. I wasn't happy with where we were seated. For whatever reason, we were stuck in the bar area. Our view to the left was the parking lot. The view to the right was the bar, which came with its own set of noise. And since we were on a main pathway, it was hard to have any conversation with the traffic and noise passing by every few minutes. I think I was expecting to sit in the beautiful other spaces they have available with dim lighting and a more romantic vibe, especially for an anniversary dinner. The food was absolutely mind blowing. Everything we had was cooked with so much thought and care. The beef medallion and crab cake appetizers really set the stage for the main course, which consisted of ribeye for both of us. Absolutely the best steak I've ever had. Tender, juicy, seasoned to perfection. My husband enjoyed asparagus with hollandaise as a side. I enjoyed a salad. Everything we devoured was absolutely top notch. Our waiter was awesome, Travis. He definitely took care of us as far as service. Very nice gentleman. I would give the food a 10000/10. I hope to be able to go back and give the ambiance another try. My fault for not speaking up while there or having the wrong set of expectations.“
