I have also had my share of terrible service and/or food and usually do not say a word. The experience I had this afternoon at Culvers in Ankeny was horrendous. The food that is. The drive through guy that took my order, payment and delivery was so kind and helpful. I ordered a cod dinner and was only able to eat some of the fish. The 2 sides I ordered were cheese curds and fries. Both were so cold, hard and dry. I was so disappointed. The roll that came with it was cold, hard and dry as well. The butter was good! I did eat most of the fish but it too was tough. WHAT has happened to Culvers? Don't they realize that they are not the only option for food? Sad to say but I will be going to those other options for my meals in the future. The concrete I ordered was sloppy (down side of cup) and melting but did taste good. I HATE leaving a poor review but come on Culvers. Do better. Be better. If it had been just 1 food this review would never have been written. Oh, side note. This was after the lunch rush and before dinner rush. It was close to 2. Got right into drive through with no waiting. Disappointed.“

“I was in town for business and met a friend here. The staff recommended plenty of good options but I ended up with the Pork Tenderloin sandwich. It did not disappoint. It was a nice change from the usual lettuce and tomato and instead having the slaw with the pickled onion and jalapeno! I'll visit again next time I am in town!“

When they saw the balloons the staff at the front immediately wished her happy birthday and let her know she could get a free scoop when she was ready. “I had lunch with a friend and had The BEST tenderloin ever! It fit a good sized bun and was thick and cooked to perfection. Onion rings were exactly how I like them. Going tomorrow for brunch. I will have the tenderloin. Great place!“

“Nite Hawk was one of the highlights in a day where we roundtrip cycled from Ankeny to the High Trestle Bridge in Madrid! Located immediately off the High Trestle Trail in Slater, this place is extremely bike friendly, and a fun stop. We had decided to visit on our way to the Bridge, and about 35 miles later, we were so glad to stop here. Loved the atmosphere, the overall indoor/outdoor vibe. Enjoyed a tasty burger and fries, good pricing and great customer service. I'll visit every time from now on!“

“I went to B Bops on my Bycycle to both get exercise and feed my fat face between 11:00-11:30pm on 4/18/21. They were super busy and as can happen in BUSY FAST FOOD SITUATIONS, mistakes do occur. They WILL occur. The question with B Bops or any other business is where do you go from there? Well in my case B Bops solved my Number 9 Burger and Fires problem with consummate professionalism not seen not seen since the Roman Siege of Alesia in 52 BC. “We were in for lunch yesterday, my grandson wasn't feeling well. Our waitress refused to wait on us. She must have gotten the manager, he was a real trooper, took our order and delivered our food. “Most Friendliest location I've been to, the place wasn't crowded just the way I like it, and great atmosphere. The person who cleans up n takes up trays only spoke to my partner but did not speak to me. Instead, he gave an ugly look and walked off. 30 minutes after eating, my partner got up for seconds, and that same person that cleans up walked out and saw the empty plates and walked away.
