The Molcajete was loaded with steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, onions and peppers....served along with rice, beans, lettuce. Very good representation of the Molcajete!
The El Patron had loads of steak, chicken, pork, peppers and onions along with the rice and beans as well.
Service was excellent, as good as we've ever had...very prompt and friendly.
Decor was somewhat upscale with black and gold highlighting the room with Mexican culture pictures and paintings on the walls.“

It seriously now is our favorite Mexican restaurant! We were greeted right away, and noticed when walking to our table how clean the restaurant is and impressed with the open kitchen! The service was TOP NOTCH! Delicious food. Great prices on lunch menu, plus still left with leftovers to have tonight. HIGHLY recommend! Despite staff being very busy, I still got my order in 15 min and one of the teens working at the register checked on me while I waited to see if I needed anything. I’ve always had excellent service. “The food was great. I tried a margarita and it was a little heavy on the mix. I prefer table chips warm, but these were still crispy. It would have been nice to be told that we needed to go up to the register to pay. You don't see the register when you come in because it's tucked on the side of the door out of the way. We barely had time to sit down at the bar before they already brought us fresh chips — that alone set the tone for the whole visit. The service was incredibly fast, friendly, and welcoming.

The beer was served in ice-cold frosted glasses, which was an instant win for us. The staff took their time to explain the menu, recommended what to try, and every suggestion was spot on.

And the margarita… WOW. One of the best margaritas we’ve ever had — perfectly balanced, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

Hubby got the regular size crispy chicken burrito and he said it was 5 stars. The regular is huge! I got the ground beef burrito and the meat was very well seasoned and was way more than I could eat but was delicious! Next time I'll go with the small which will still be more than I can probably eat. We will definitely be going back!“

Throughout my travels across the country for work, I've yet to find anything that compares. In my opinion, the secret lies in the unique blend of meat and cheese. I do miss the ladies who used to run the place, but I think the new owner has done a fantastic job preserving the atmosphere and recipes that make Taco Casa special.
