“This is by far the best Subway in the Des Moines metro. I often leave Subways disappointed I went in the first place, wishing I could have just made my sandwich myself as they're sloppily thrown together and zero customer service accompanies them, but not here. Every staff member I have encountered has been so friendly, always greeting me right when I walk in. In particular, the gentleman that has glasses is the absolute best. I always prefer him to make my sandwich because he does such a good job!! The place is always so clean as well, which isn't common for most Subways. The customer service and atmosphere has left me feeling so happy and satisfied on multiple occasions, I thought it time to leave a positive review. Great job!!“

“I ate lunch here on St. Paddy's Day, 2025. I had never been here before but I will definitely be back. First of all, they have Coke products, which is great for Diet Coke addicts like me, and I got a huge soda with FREE REFILLS. They even came to my table and got it for me. I ordered the "Choose 2" and got a club sandwich and loaded potato. Both were so delicious. Great meal. Delicious salted caramel chocolate cookie. Everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend!!

Parking: There is a side door and we got a spot right by it. Super easy access for my friend who uses a walker.“

I am extremely disappointed they have changed the service model to make you order all the toppings at the register and cannot see the toppings. For example, I usually only get the spinach if it looks fresh. And I skip items when they have other things in them, like cheese in the pepper container and so on.“

“This place was absolutely a wonderful experience. You are greeted right away, the atmosphere is friendly and happy sincerely, the food is absolutely comforting and delicious, there signature item is there lemonade ?. They also have more soup options and items available then offered for me to recommend I highly recommend there salads, sandwiches, and soups.

“Newer, nice and clean store across from Ankeny Centennial high school. Stopped in to feed everyone after a choir concert. No problems along with good sandwiches makes for a pleasant experience. Would say it's worth a shot for a quick and good meal .“

“This was my first time at this location. I typically go to another location, but it was on my way back home from an errand. The male that helped me this afternoon was so nice and professional. By the sounds of it he wasn't even scheduled, but picked up the shift. Anyways I wanted to applaud him on how efficient and kind he was, and at the end of the transaction, he reminded me about how I could use coupons online and reminded me on other things. “The crew working this morning was interrupted by me needing a sandwich communication was perfect I was fine with waiting while they got a huge order started. Once they got me going I always get the number one and ask for mayo but they always douse my sandwich in mayo this crew even took the time to spread out my guacamole. “My husband and I tried to order from the app but it wouldn't take our coupon code for buy 1 footlong, get 1 free. So we drove to the restaurant and ordered inside, to-go. The manager was very nice and helpful. She told us she would accept our coupon even though it was supposed to be good for in -app orders only. Our sandwiches were made quickly, and they were excellent. Love the footlong chocolate chip cookie and churro!! They are out of this world!!!“

“I came in pretty late and ordered 3 sandwiches. Instead of the ladies getting annoyed to help me they simply just said okay no problem! One of the girls accidentally stabbed her self while cutting my bread open, I was so worried but she ended up being okay and made each sandwich with love! “Great Subway location!! It has charging stations, the facility is clean. The employee's are friendly. The reason for not a 5 star is upon request for a plastic knife to cut up my tomatoes I was informed they had none. Then I requested a knife so I could do it myself they said they couldn't let me use a knife (which I totally understand) then I asked if they could just cut it for me. I had not opened the salad or anything yet. I was told they don't do chopped salads anymore. Ok cool lol. So moral of the story if you want your tomatoes cut up on your salad ask while they are preparing your food. I would like to re-itterate no employee was rude or disrespectful. Very pleasant staff!“
