“What a lovely space. Open and clean. Lots of outdoor tables that are all cover. Went the for the time today that we try someplace new. Well, what a great surprise. The food was delicious and the service excellent thank you Bree. You were great. I recommend this highly and the menu was great. The drinks were delicious and something a little different than the ordinary. Thanks for a great brunch.“

“Selection and cleanliness are both great but the reason I wanted to review was actually for the mother’s room- it is my first time using one provided by HyVee and it was so nice! It was private and comfortable. There was a place to nurse, change the diaper and wash hands all in one place. It was unexpectedly very nice and I am grateful. We were able to get our groceries AND take care of our four month old 💕“

“20260503: I enjoy walking over to the HyVee Market Grille for breakfast. 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pancakes, a fruit cup and coffee for ~$8. A great deal in my opinion, and I don't have any pans or plates to wash.

20250928: My grown son, wife and I walked over to the HyVee Market Grille for breakfast. I had the everything omelet with pancakes and fruit, my son had The Good Start, and my wife had pancakes.

The restaurant was busy, being Sunday and U of Iowa Homecoming. The eggs in my omelet were cooked properly, and my family enjoyed their food.

Alicia is a fantastic server, remembering who we are and our preferences.

20250116: My wife and l like the HyVee Market Grille, particularly for breakfast, but also for burgers, etc, during Trivia Night on Thursdays. The service is fantastic, and the booths are a bit more private than you find at a lot of other pubs because there's a glass panel above the bench backs.

You would think the food would be a bit better since the restaurant is, after all, in a grocery store, so fresh produce is literally within 2 minutes from the kitchen.“

“Thank you so much for being open on Thanksgiving and taking online orders! Iowa City businesses were all closed but thanks to this establishment, we were able to get two hot steak dinners for an affordable price and they were good. The temp requested for the steak was med-rare and they nailed it. I do wish they had called about being out of green beans before substituting corn since one of us does not eat corn, but this is Iowa. Iowa loves corn.

The good experience with our delivery has made us interested in visiting in person. Even though the food took longer to deliver due to our original dasher canceling, it was still warm too! Everything was packaged really well, portioned well, and they even sent wet naps.

“I just wanted give a shout out to David who took my order and rang me up. He was very polite. When he asked me how I was doing today, I lied and said I was good. I have had a rough time lately. He was so personable and genuine, I just want the manager to know that he has really brighten my day. He made me feel valued as a person and a customer. Plus the food was delicious! “I absolutely love this place Its so amazing the staff is sweet the waitresses are so nice so heart warming So kind. They always make you feel so welcome there. They also have Trivia on Tuesday at 7pm sometimes theme as well and Music bingo on Wensday at 7pm through out the week. This place is fun magical just great spirits here its a great place to bring your family make great fun nights and beautiful memories. Also they have wonderful delicious food. Tuesday is my favorite day cause they have Taco Tuesday they are so yummy I mean so delicious out of this world my favorite so what are waiting for give it a try you will not regret it I promise ????
