“My car started acting up yesterday so I pulled into Subway to alert my husband. Serena and Rachael came out right away to check on us. They encouraged my kids to go inside where they provided them with pop and cookies. Serena took it upon herself to check my oil which was super sweet. I was so impressed by their natural instinct to help and show us kindness. They mentioned that my alternator might be out. My alternator's currently getting replaced so great job on your diagnosis and for your customer service. These girls deserve all of the praise. I'm a car girl myself so having them step up and be so attentive was impressive. If you're in the area, stop by the Subway in Tiffin, IA. They have some amazing folks that work there. “Terrible experience, very disappointed with our visit today. We talked about going there all weekend because we enjoy the 86. Drove over an hour to get there by four today because they were closing early. The girl at the front was very sweet. We were very excited to be there and told her it was our first time there. She said we could sit down and order or go to the bar. We sat down and several servers looked at us, but no one waited on us. We went to the bar and said we had never been there before. A guy said there is a menu on the counter but I'll be over there cleaning, let me know what you want and walked away. We had no idea what we were doing since it was our first time there. I wanted to try wines and my husband whiskey, but not if no one wanted to wait on us. So, we looked at each other and decided to leave. Once in the parking lot I realized it was a long way home and I should use the restroom first. So, I went back in, and I told the girl behind the counter we were leaving because no one waited on us, but I needed to use the restroom first. When I came out of the restroom she said to enjoy the rest of our day. Would have had a better day if we could have tried something... Went from very excited to be there to can't wait to leave...”

“Seriously great. Some of the best pizza in Iowa City. The staff is so friendly and accommodating — the menu and vibe can be a little confusing on your first time but they take great care of you! The chicken lips were great as well, I’m so glad I tried them despite the name being a bit off-putting 😉 Can be a little pricey for college students, but I feel it’s worth it.”

They recently expanded their NA selection. This is a great spot for conversationalists, lunch specials, and the rural, urban crowd this spot draws in. Open Tuesday through Saturday”

The servers were incredibly kind and attentive, providing excellent service that made the whole experience feel personal and uplifting. Their coffee was fresh and flavorful, and every dish we tried from the breakfast menu was outstanding, made with quality ingredients and served hot.
