“It's such a great place to get a quick bite to eat! My dad and I go here often since we live pretty close! Never have to wait for a table, and the regular waitress (Theresa, I believe) is awesome! She is personable and always remembers our food and drinks ? orders. Fast service.

“Seriously great. Some of the best pizza in Iowa City. The staff is so friendly and accommodating — the menu and vibe can be a little confusing on your first time but they take great care of you! The chicken lips were great as well, I’m so glad I tried them despite the name being a bit off-putting 😉 Can be a little pricey for college students, but I feel it’s worth it.“

“I excitedly noticed this place one evening whilst out walking my dog and made sure to stop in the following day because I haven't come across a Kava bar in over ten years since living down in Melbourne Florida, and my interest was piqued. The owners were quite friendly and a pleasure to engage in conversation with. The atmosphere is cozy and decorated so that it adds a bit of a "welcome home" aesthetic to it and makes it feel more like you're dropping in to see a friend than you are to shop. There's adequate and comfortable seating throughout as well as patio seating. I can see this as a nice spot to stop and relax outside of with my pup while enjoying a much needed break from life now and then. The Kava drink that I indulged in was fairly priced and delivered well on the desired effects expected of it. Kava and Kratom are two amazing plants that have helped me get through some of the tougher obstacles of life, and better enjoy the simpler times as well. It's a very welcomed addition to Savannah because it brings a much needed social (and possibly transcendental) outlet for those of us that aren't otherwise interested in the typical bar scene. I highly recommend that you research and give them both (kava and kratom) a try, and I also highly recommend you stop into this establishment and enjoy what they have to offer. Thank you. “My wife and I went to the Black Angel for a late lunch about 4 pm today. We split a beef brisket sandwich with each us having a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. The soup was lukewarm and had to be reheated which was promptly and courteously done, as was all service rendered. This was our only complaint. Everything was excellent. Best Chicken Tortilla soup (not too spicy) ever had, The sandwich was great too. Yum!“

“I helped plan and host a surprise retirement party for a dear friend at Tin Roost in 'The Coop'. Mackenzie, their Event Coordinator, was professional, responsive and very detail orientated. She worked with us quickly to plan the party and checked in at appropriate times to be sure we were still on track. Her recommendations for service, food and layout were spot on. The event service staff was polished and hospitable. Each person we encountered at Tin Roost seemed genuinely happy to be working there.“

Always great food, Always a friendly smile, the food & service is what ppl go to restaurants for and GREAT food & GREAT service is definitely what you will receive here! The managers make sure the atmosphere is welcoming along with all the staff. Great place for all sizes of parties whether its 1 ppl to a latge group, they are always willing to accommodate and make it happen. This new restaurant has been booming & Im sure its ranked at #1 in the area so far! Soo happy my daughter has found her calling to serve as she continues her nursing studies! “I'm gluten intolerant so I ordered the tomato bisque rather than the chips with my sandwich. The waiter heard me tell my friend why I was ordering the soup and checked to make sure I would be able to eat both the sandwich and the soup. He went above and beyond to cater to my needs. Our lunch was good and his entire demeanor and attitude were very pleasant. Worth stopping here since we were only in town for a doctor's visit at the hospital.“

“Upscale-themed restaurant within the Hyatt Regency hotel on the Iowa River Landing. 5-star service by Kat & atmosphere were the highlight of our dinner experience, with the Iowa Corn Chowder a close second. The chestnut risotto was very good, the filet was average, the monkfish was interesting but a little bland, and the beer menu needs to be expanded to include at least one amber/belgian quad option to mirror the type of restaurant they aspire to be. We’ll definitely give it another shot in the future!“

“I’d probably give this place the first four stars just based on fond memories, but we stopped in before a game and the Bine delivered in spades! We arrived 4 hours before the game and the place already had great energy. We were able to park through the game for only $20 and found a table with no wait.

Our server was nice and efficient and the wings were as good as I remembered! For the atmosphere, food and location, this is an easy 5 stars. We’ll be stopping back when we’re in town again in a few weeks!“

“Very unique, creative and very delicious food!When we were there, we tried the west coast wrap and it was full of greens and grilled chicken, goat cheese and pistachios.Fresh food, made to order.One goes up to the register to order and then you wait while they fix your food and then you take it and go sit down. They are multi-level, it's narrow and not excessively deep, but there is quite of bit of seating for two people or four people and even if you're just by yourself. There are larger tables up stairs, (they have two floors) The restrooms are on the second floor, as well. Stairs are used to access the second level.They also have very tasty drinks.We had the blueberry lemonade.

Vegetarian options: I do believe that you could get any wrap adjusted to your dietary needs. One could turn a wrap vegetarian. One could add cheese or leave off cheese. I think that they would accommodate that.

Kid-friendliness: I would say it was kid friendly. There is a big front window and it seems like a very fun place that children would like to be.

Parking: Street parking at metered spots, or one could park in the car park(ramps) and walk.“
