“Great place to visit if you are in this area. Also, a nice option to eat and drink here when the Coralville and Iowa City popular establishments are filled up.

We went for dinner after a Iowa Hawkeyes game. Fantastic draft beer options and all food we ordered met or exceeded our expectations. Burgers actually tasted fresh and from grill.

We would not hesitate going back here in the future while my son is in college.“

“My husband and I decided to try Naomi’s Kitchen because dinner was always a hassle in the evenings. With a 7 mo old, two dogs and both of us working, we decided it was time to start outsourcing some things! We are 3 meals in and are SOLD! The meals are delicious, easy to heat and the staff is so kind. I can NOT recommend this service enough.“

“I loved this place so much! I was in town visiting family from Wisconsin and my dad and I came here for brunch today (7/14/2024) before I had to drive back home. I don’t recall our servers name but they were so, so sweet! My dad has been there a ton and loves the corned beef hash. I tried the ah-nold sandwich. Hands down the most amazing sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t wait to visit again!“

“When I was pregnant with our first child in 1967, I would wake my husband James up in the middle of the night. He was a grad student at Iowa at the time. He would walk all the way from our house at 16 W. Bloomington to the Mill Restaurant to buy me one of their delicious grilled egg sandwiches. I know there was quite an array of them. That's when I knew I had married a true gem. He passed the "Mill Test." Walking to get an order at 2 in the morning. "A" for James and "A" for The Mill!“

Service wasn't great, had to ask multiple times for salsa and never got our Bloody Mary. Server didn't know the $ of mimosas "like $12 or something" was the response. Price & food were good.“

“Big grove has delicious tasty food! I’ve been to both locations in Solon and Iowa City and they’re both great. However, I was devastated when Solon removed their Parmesan encrusted grilled cheese because it is truly the best one I’ve ever had!:(( I don’t go there as much because that used to be my usual order. Love the restaurant but would love to see it back on their menu again. I wish everyone could try it.“

While staying at an adjacent hotel, I much enjoyed dining in, convivial conversations at the bar over a craft IPA, then taking out more. The Kick Up Coleslaw and Plabano Rice are new favorites.“

“This restaurant has incredible service and staff. I have been numerous times and each time I have been greeted at the door and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure I have a good experience. They recommend I try certain sauces, dishes, and even offer me a free drink with my meal. I did not know anything about this restaurant until I had their food at a graduation party. “Ordered the Jumbo Breaded Tenderloin today. It came with Fries and Onion rings. Was a VERY GOOD tenderloin. Had very good breading on it and the Onion Rings were AWESOME!! I'D HIGHLY RECCOMEND EATING HERE!! Waitress was very courteous, and seen to our needs as a customer. I do believe this will be my new eating palce in Iowa City. “Very unique, creative and very delicious food!When we were there, we tried the west coast wrap and it was full of greens and grilled chicken, goat cheese and pistachios.Fresh food, made to order.One goes up to the register to order and then you wait while they fix your food and then you take it and go sit down. They are multi-level, it's narrow and not excessively deep, but there is quite of bit of seating for two people or four people and even if you're just by yourself. There are larger tables up stairs, (they have two floors) The restrooms are on the second floor, as well. Stairs are used to access the second level.They also have very tasty drinks.We had the blueberry lemonade.

Vegetarian options: I do believe that you could get any wrap adjusted to your dietary needs. One could turn a wrap vegetarian. One could add cheese or leave off cheese. I think that they would accommodate that.

Kid-friendliness: I would say it was kid friendly. There is a big front window and it seems like a very fun place that children would like to be.

Parking: Street parking at metered spots, or one could park in the car park(ramps) and walk.“

The gyro burger is amazing. The chicken wings and milkshakes are top tier. Spicy mozzarella cheese curds are delicious. Will definitely be going back for more

“We stopped here on our trip back east. We wanted to have steak before passing Chicago. We found this chophouse and decided to drop in. Iowa City is a university city and we got that feeling downtown. Everyone is in their 20s! ?? However, we were greeted as friends and sat down to some local beer. After appetizers (crab cake are great!), I had a NY cut steak and she had a steak salad. My steak was perfect and juicy. A real treat. The steak in the salad was tough and not really edible. I’d avoid that salad. But the rest is great. Thanks for having us! ?“

“Very impressed. Single page, homecrafted menu items. Single page is the first tell tale sign of a good place. It seems counter intuitive, but restaurants only have so much money to put towards buying items; the more they have to spend per item, the lower the quality. Not to mention how creative you have to be to think of many pages of complex dishes.

I got the pork with demi-glace and it was perfectly cooked. Wish I got a photo to post here. Perfect sear w/maintained moisture. Good presentation too. Vegetables on side and well made. $22 on the menu I believe. Very worth the price.

I generally dont eat out, especially these days, as restaurant prices have gone up but quality has gone down. That is not the case here. If lived closer I would eat here a fair bit. Kudos

We love visiting The Webster. They have great cocktails, amazing food, and great service, (rated 4 stars on service due to our last server, it’s usually great). We wish there were some sweeter wines on the menu by the glass instead of all dry options. My absolute favorite dish I’ve had at The Webster is their summer Mafalde. Overall, this is a great date spot, night out with friends, or place to celebrate!

Parking: Plan to arrive early as The Webster has a 15 min grace period on reservations. This will allow enough time to find a parking spot on the street or in a parking garage. Some evenings, after 6pm, parking will be free depending on the street you park on.“

“Passing through Iowa City looking for a quick healthy lunch. I found Nodo online so we headed that direction. Right next to the Ace Hardware - I was a little skeptical but it was lunch time! I am so glad we found this place. The food we had was excellent and healthy. The Thai wrap was amazing. Stuffed full of veggie goodness, crunchy peanuts and drizzled with a creamy peanut sauce. I would go back for that again. My husband got the bacon sandwich and kept raving about the amount of bacon and how delicious it was. There is another location that might be more restaurant typical but we grabbed a seat outside and did some people watching while we ate. Great alternative to the fast food chains. WIN!“

“Good hometown vibes at this 90 year old bar at the top of a hill. Big Grove on draft and a sizeable food menu. Dad had the fried gizzards and I had a patty melt with onion rings. Great older bartender ladies that are sweet as can be. I’d come back for the pool tables and nuthin fancy attitude.“
