“Walcott — world’s largest truck stop just outside of Davenport. Stopped for breakfast at the beginning of 2,600 mile Harley trip. Great way to start your day. HUGE breakfast, fair price point, tasty, and perfectly prepared. Crisp hash browns, thick bacon, chicken fried steak and sausage gravy top notch. Pancakes great. We didn’t do the buffet but it was huge. Knowledgeable staff well informed on what is gluten free and not. It’s what you’d expect from truck stop food (great food fair price), parking is abundant, rest of truck stop is pretty cool too. Always a big crowd

“Ashton did a great job! Such a nice friendly attentive waitress. Downfall is the parking lot is SO dark it’s not lit up AT ALL and actually the sign advertising the restaurant is not lit up at all. We almost didn’t stop because it’s so dark in the parking lot and the sign is out. So many elderly clientele in there it’s nuts to think of the parking lot being so poorly lit?“
