“My lunch today at Saints Pub in Waukee, with two dear friends, was truly wonderful. My blackened salmon was tender and fabulous, and our server, Gerardo, was very helpful and attentive. Being able to relax on the patio on such a beautiful day was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!“
“They've really tried to change in the last 5 years or so. They offer daily special meals like steak night (mondays) and taco night (tuesdays). The steaks are legit some of the best I've ever had. Served with very well seasoned grilled onions and mushrooms.

“We just had great tenderloins at the 5th Quarter in Van Meter. It was our first time there. Clean, friendly, good menu. Maybe the best tenderloin ever. Obviously home done. Not overlarge but I still could only eat half of it. Friendly waitress. No downside for us.“

“I got cheese pizza and vanilla yogurt with strawberries! Last time I got fries. good kid’s menu… it was $6.99 for the meal. Hehe good price. Yogurt was chunky..: pizza was good, Dr Pepper was good, bouncy seat:)
Vegetarian options: Kids menu there was broccoli trees.
They had salads and applesauce.
Parking: They had small parking spots.. BUT it was ok.“

Annie was incredibly responsive and worked closely with me throughout the planning process. She listened to our needs and provided valuable suggestions that made the event seamless. The professionalism and attention to detail from the entire staff really stood out.
Now, let’s talk about the food! The menu catered to a variety of dietary preferences, and everything served was delicious—our guests raved about the options available!
On the day of the event, it was clear that Wellman’s Rooftop takes pride in their service. They ensured everything was set up perfectly, allowing us to focus on enjoying the festivities rather than worrying about logistics. “The owners have invested their time and money rehabilitating this restaurant/sports bar while showing their commitment to customers. The staff excel at service. I tried the wings and they are huge with good flavor. The flatbread pizzas are excellent as well. Try the NY strip steak night on Mondays. I've heard good reviews about the Gyros also. This is a terrific place to watch sports. There are 37 tap beers. Highly recommend for a good time.“

“The store was busy, which is to be expected on a Saturday. It took a little bit for our server to come and get our order, but Phil was absolutely amazing and did a great job. The food was beyond amazing, and the game area was well-maintained and easy to use. We'll definitely be back!!“
