“Goodwood BBQ
1140 N Eagle Road, Meridian - 208-884-1021
7849 West Spectrum Street, Boise near the theatres - 208-658-7173
Here are my three favorite appetizers from the locally owned Goodwood Barbecue Company in Meridian and Boise Idaho. Try the fresh made onion rings with buttermilk batter, the loaded Idaho potato skins and the shredded pork quesadilla. I also routinely choose the made in house potato salad as a side dish when ordering an entrée, which is creamy and not mayo based, plus the not overly sweet BBQ beans as the optional "two sides with each entrée." They have a separate lunch menu section for entrees, salads and sandwiches.
The service at both locations is always friendly, they hustle and the restaurants always seem to be a popular lunch and dinner choice, filling up fast.
Reservations are available for large parties. Just call in advance and the table is already set up with menus, silverware, water, etc. While not a separate room, there are two locations in each place that can be set up. We have ended up with as many as 28 people.*
* note the mandatory tip for groups is now 22% and is calculated after the menu price and tax total, effectively bringing it up to 25%. And, if paying separately, be sure to let the individuals in your group know.“

“VERDICT: The king of noodle takeout. I get the noodles (often dressed down to a meat and a couple veggies). I usually add a kimchi as a side to compliment the free steamed rice.
MORE IN-DEPTH: I have found this location to have the excellent sauces and a great selection of well-prepped ingredients, translating to consistently cooked elements. What sets them apart from the near-identical offerings of other Americanized yakisoba is largely the trifecta of good product, excellent service, and accessibility. The staff is quite accommodating and quick to serve. I'm able to get in-and-out for takeout in a matter of minutes.
Vegetarian options: The noodles are wheat-based and there's a good selection of vegetables and tofu. Given that it's stir-fry, the dish translates well into a vegetarian option.
Dietary restrictions: There's high probability of cross-contamination.
Parking: Plenty of free parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility is reasonable. The counter height might make it more difficult for shorter individuals, but there are several tables (not booths) that would work well with a wheelchair.“

“Been here many times normally a good experience. On this particular day the wait time for food after ordering was much longer than normal. What happened to the service? Maybe new staff? Also the server taking orders didn't know how to pour beer from the tap correctly. Got way too much foam.“

“Food was a little bit salty, not in such a bad way but some salt-sensitive people may not enjoy it. Servers are very friendly and I felt like they have known me for years. Mac & Cheese was very yummy nummy.
Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free menu
Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly, but I recommend not taking your kids for the sake of society.
Wheelchair accessibility: Saw multiple people in wheel chairs. It is also roomy and wide enough to stroll around the tables.“

“First time with Korean bbq. Good flavor combinations with rice mix, and pork. The rice, vegetabe blend and chicken was also very flavorful. Caution with sauces. Level 3, the heat starts. Slight tingle, very full on flavor. Rest of higher levels go warmer from there. Level one stays on sweeter side with mild flavor and no heat. My associate said level 1 was perfect for her spice sensitive tummy. Pot stickers rounded off meal with lots of filling and soy sauce dip topped it off.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible“
