REAL SOCAL MEXICAN FOOD!!It really is sad how hard it is to find GOOD Mexican food in Idaho.This place NAILS IT!In SD everyone knows the best places are south of the 8.Had the Adobada burrito and a large horchata and I thought I was back in Spring Valley.We'll be coming back many times.
My wife and I stopped here last week after a comedy show. It was almost 1am, and we hadn't eaten since lunch. I ordered a Carne asada breakfast burrito, and it was far better than I could have imagined. Usually, the breakfast burritos at late-night spots like this are full of cheese and potatoes, light on the meat. Not here, no potatoes at all, just a ton of eggs, salsa, and meat. Stopped by for dinner. Food was good... Place was busy...Waited over 1/2 hour for food ...Many people who came in to eat left because no one would take their order.. Cali Mex waits on drive up and not walk in.... If there is a line in drive up and you want to eat in .... Expect a 30 minute wait IF they even take your order.... This is the third time this has happened to us. So whenever there is a line at drive up we go somewhere else.
