“A friend and I had dinner here for the 1st time last night. The food was really good but the bright spot of dining here was our server Eric. He was absolutely fantastic. He was attentive but not annoying, he was intuitive, and very helpful. When we return, we definitely ask for Eric. Thank you, Eric for making our evening even more enjoyable“

First off, when walking in was greeted by the owner and as soon as I heard his accent I immediately went back to the sandwich shops my grandpa used to take me to in New Jersey. Second, this is the first shop that has made a Philly cheesesteak like they do in Philadelphia. 10 out of 10. I’m definitely going back there as soon as possible“

“Newest OG location. I really like where they decided to locate it, it's very central and easy to get to.
Very nice establishment (of course, it's brand new). Everything looks very good, a nice touch of modern elegance compared to older locations. However, that being said, while there is modern elegance, it does reduce the more relaxed, comfortable look that OG has historically been known for. I suppose it's give and take in this department, but being a family centric (historically) chain, I wasn't quite expecting something like this. Nothing bad, don't get me wrong. Just.. different. Not the same feeling. Still, very nice.
Staff seem very apt to formality. Everyone is dressed very nice. And thus far the staff are acting equally as formal. Very courteous, nice and respectful.
Service has been a bit confusing. Has it been.. bad - not.. particularly. But the speed has been all over the place. And within multiple visits, especially slow on the back end after the main entrees are served. Drinks have been very slow to get refilled, along with any other requests. Example , I had to request my ice tea refilled 3 times for it to finally occur. I have been very excited for the Never Ending Pasta Bowls to come back, however.. getting a pasta refill has been.. painful. Both the last times, it took so long to finally get a pasta refill ordered and then reach the table, by the time it got there, everyone is basically ready to leave, so I don't get an opportunity to eat it and just have to have it put in a to go box.
Maybe it's intentional to do that to reduce the product cost, but..that completely defeats the whole "never ending" program and seems almost like a fraudulent claim. Who knows.
All in all, it's pretty solid. But I think perhaps there is still a steep learning curve happening.“

“This place is old school Italian from the crooners playlist to the well-prepared simple food. The fritto misto is lightly breaded fried shrimp and calamari with some lettuce and lemon wedges - not covered in sauce or accompanied by heavy sauces like at other places. The fresh bread is rustic with burnished spots on a somewhat flat and dense texture and served without butter but there is a small glass jar of olive oil on every table that works well for a drizzle. Evidence that they take their pasta seriously is that the server recommended I shouldn’t substitute pappardelle in the carbonara because it might not emulsify well. The large pizza oven next to the dining area smells slightly of burnt flour and reminds me of why I put my pizza oven outdoors on my patio. I appreciate that they make handmade pasta and unlike the other Boise restaurants that make their own pasta, this restaurant has knowledgeable people that will give you good advice and attention if you ask.“

“Maren saved this 1 star review, and changed it to a 5 star review! Our initial waitress was terrible. Was very curt with us. Never brought breadsticks, refilled our waters, and food was cooked wrong. Over all just wasn’t taken care of. The girl who ran our food, Maren, was outstanding. Got us our refills and our bread sticks. Along with taking my over cooked steak off our tab along with our appetizer just to make up for the lack of service. She went above and beyond. Got us a free dessert and a $25 gift card. It was my birthday dinner and she saved it! Thank you, Maren. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is important to you. If I knew the first servers name, I’d leave it in the review so people know what to expect when getting served by her. “we are visiting from Utah for a few days. we randomly chose to go to Romio's for dinner. what a great choice! we ordered Greek platter. there was enough food there for two of us. our food came out to us nice and hot and absolutely delicious! we were so full that we had to take our tiramisu to go. our waiter was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. we highly recommend Romio's. we' ll be back the next time we come to Boise. “We had a wonderful experience at bodovino today, the service was acceptable for how many people they had working on a Saturday morning, (I think our sever said it was him and one other guy) our server was running around like crazy. The food was sooo good and the drinks were amazing. We had the fettuccini Alfredo and PNW board. We were sat next to the playground which was kinda loud from all the screaming kids but the staff or restaurant can’t control that.

We were just very surprised with how well everything turned out! Food was tasty and service was excellent. There were some other patrons next to us upset about some missing olives and they were reaming our server about it. I suppose some people don’t know how this industry works.

I suggest bodovino to anyone and everyone they have everything you could want from wines to vibes. 10/10.“

“We visited Margherita Pizza for the first time tonight. Seeing a wood fired oven in a pizza restaurant is a good first sign. A friendly, personable staff is the second. Tasting a fresh salad, refreshing Italian soda, and delicious pizza (in a style very similar to what we had in Italy) sealed the deal for us! They just gained two more loyal customers.“

“while I love Uncle Bob's probably should have prepared for the Halloween rush better. I ordered at 2:30 for pick up at 5:15, got there and was told it would be an additional 20 to 30 minutes. I did feel bad for the staff because people were angry. Just a suggestion for next year!“
