“I left pics and comments regarding food. But wanted to update this. I called them and requested refund and they are sending me a gift card. They were very nice and were very apologetic. They get 5 star rating for service!!!.“

“Was my first time in today. First off, when walking in was greeted by the owner and as soon as I heard his accent I immediately went back to the sandwich shops my grandpa used to take me to in New Jersey. Second, this is the first shop that has made a Philly cheesesteak like they do in Philadelphia. 10 out of 10. I’m definitely going back there as soon as possible“

“My fiancé and I went here this last weekend for the first time to splurge and have a nice meal. This place definitely met our expectations. The service was great and every seat was filled in the restaurant. They have a nice open format. You can’t see the kitchen, but you can see just about everything else. It feels a little dated inside, but the black curtains on the windows make it feel intimate and not like you’re in a shopping mall/plaza.
First items we got were the margherita pizza and the zucchini fritters. The pizza was ok. The dough was nice and fresh, but it was almost like it was too close between a thin crispy cracker crust and a light fluffy dough. It was light and crispy, but almost firm and chewy.
The zucchini fritters were amazing. 1000% the best thing we had. They came with a whipped ricotta that had herbs mixed in. They weren’t oily at all and still had a delicious crispiness to them that still felt light even though it was fried. They were seasoned extremely well.
For the main course we got two pastas. One was the zozzana that was tomato sauce with guanciale, homemade Italian sausage, pecorino, and Italian peppers. It would probably be on the spicier side for most people, but it was perfect for me. The sauce was creamy, salty, spicy and delicious. The guanciale was cooked well and didn’t become soggy too. Still had a nice crunch around the crispy bits.
My fiancé got the carbonara and it was good, but tasted very buttery in my opinion. She really liked it though. The guanciale was really nice again and served as a perfect component to mix up textures.
For dessert we got a cappuccino, espresso and the tiramisu. Some tiramisus are extremely sweet, but this was perfectly balanced, especially with the coffees. Just don’t inhale when you take a bite or the cocoa powder on top might turn into the old cinnamon challenge. The cocoa powder on top balanced the richness of the whipped cream and sweetness of the rest of the dessert.
We also got a bottle of cab sav that was reasonably priced and complimented our entire meal.
Individual entrees:
Margherita Pizza: 6.5
Zucchini Fritters: 9.5
Carbonara: 7
Zozanna: 8.25
Tiramisu: 8
Food: 8 (rounded up because the wine was good)
Atmosphere: 7.5
Service: 9“

“This is obviously an Italian restaraunt chain with some good food and drinks. Food was tasty, like most other Olive Gardens. What stood out for me was the cleanliness, the architecture and facility (new, nicer than most OGs) and the service was excellent.
The prices are very reasonable and your portions are large. You get free breads ticks and the salad and soup get free refills. Over good experience and fast.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tonight my husband and I, along with two of our friends, had our date nights here. We each had our own tables. During dinner my friends texted me saying, “This is one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We love this place and our waiter!”
Now onto our food — I ordered the calamari, and it was beautifully fried, crisp, and golden. It came with two sauces: the spicy one was divine, and the marinara gravy was absolutely fabulous. As an Italian New Yorker, I haven’t found gravy that good since moving here. It was a true taste of home.
I also ordered the linguine with clam sauce. The flavor was outstanding — juicy, briny, full of depth. The clam broth was so delicious my waiter even brought me a soup spoon because I couldn’t stop drinking it! The Caesar salad had the best homemade dressing — fresh and full of flavor.
Tonight was one of the best nights of my life. Truly spectacular. ✨
We wanna thank the manager Bryce, for this perfect night“

“We visited Margherita Pizza for the first time tonight. Seeing a wood fired oven in a pizza restaurant is a good first sign. A friendly, personable staff is the second. Tasting a fresh salad, refreshing Italian soda, and delicious pizza (in a style very similar to what we had in Italy) sealed the deal for us! They just gained two more loyal customers.“

“Late lunch. Had hot Italian Stromboli and Strozzapreti. For the Stromboli, think Calzone. It was spicy and delicious. The other dish was chicken with pasta, mushrooms, chicken and a white sauce. I just had some that was left over and it is great. They also have a thorough wine list and spirits. Will go again.“

“Probably my favorite spot in Meridian to have a drink. Their espresso martini is the best in the valley. And they make a fantastic old-fashioned.
Their flatbeds are fantastic, but I really love their Bolognese. Trust me on this, it’s an amazing Italian dish.
The staff here is great, I’ve gotten to know them well. They treat you well and it truly feels like friends.“

“I never understand why this place isn’t busier. They have a fantastic happy hour menu. All the servers are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a lovely patio. Every kid gets a full cup of crayons and some coloring books. They have a little arcade room. It’s a great place to bring your family. My kids love the build your own pizza. I’m a huge fan of the mozzarella sticks (I love how thin they are and there’s a good crunch) and the vegetable Alfredo. The portions are huge.“

“I ordered a special for $25. It was an extra pepperoni pizza, large and a 2-liter for $25. I did carry out and placed it for 6:45-7pm pickup because it was 6pm and I was doing uber but needed to feed my family! The food was super fresh and ready at 6:45pm. It looked absolutely amazing. I have ordered here a total of 8 times in the last 5 months and have not been disappointed once. I have always lived by Chicago connection being the absolutely best pizza ever due to there sauce being thick and cheese being thick, all pizzas being a deep dish, it’s amazing! It’s mine and my families favorite pizza 🍕 the woman at the front counter was super nice and friendly. I had already paid online so she just got my pizza and I got my two liter and skedaddled. This Chicago connection isn’t ever busy when I go in so there wasn’t a wait but the pizza is 100% worth it!“

“My husband and I have been dining here for 5-plus years, so I'm reviewing as a regular customer. I order the seafood lasagna and my husband gets the meat lasagna. In our minds we've found magnificent options, so why change? I"m sure other entrees are also wonderful, though,so I'm committed to trying something different next time. Maybe .We ordered the calamari appetizer in the bar a few months ago and it was better than the typical calamari offered by many restaurants. It was crispy, not greasy, and had a flavorful sauce that didn't taste like marinara from a bottle. Usually, we don't order appetizers here because the entrees are generously portioned. While we rarely have room left for dessert, the few times we've ordered it, it's been decent, but not memorable. That being said, ask your server if berry cobbler is available. If it is, order in advance (hot with vanilla ice cream) and save room for it. You'll thank this review later. Dinners start with the house salad and excellent bread (seriously delicious) and whatever beverages you want. There is a full bar and we've never been served a less-than cocktail. The wine menu is fairly basic with decent, affordable options. There are wines that will appeal to connoisseurs, as well. If you're looking for a place to watch a game and get a drink, the bar is cozy, and friendly with two or three tv's showing various sporting events (or just one if you're there during a Boise State Broncos game). You can order appetizers and dinner and eat in the bar, if you prefer that to the dining room. The restaurant is unpretentious and the people running it are friendly. Service has always been attentive and friendly. Occasionally there is live music. The restaurant is a bit on the small side and when it's busy, it gets noisy. It's not the best place for a quiet conversation and I wouldn't consider it romantic. It's got great food however, and a nice vibe! Dress is casual. Get reservations if you're showing up later than 5:30 on a Friday or Saturday. It's a busy place and is popular with us locals for a reason.“
