“Dine in | $30–50 We hadn’t been to Vincenzo’s in several years and decided to give it another try last night. With the new ownership, the level of hospitality has truly stepped up. We ran about 10 minutes late for our reservation, and when I called, they assured me it was no problem — even though there were people waiting for tables when we arrived. I really appreciated that they still honored our reservation and welcomed us warmly. Our server was attentive, checking in often to make sure everything was just right. The owner, Colton, was engaged with guests, serving, chatting, offering suggestions, and making everyone feel at home. Chef Heidi’s dishes were outstanding. My friend ordered the meatballs (something I usually avoid), but they were absolutely delicious. We also had the fritto misto, zucchini fritters, fettuccine and veal, all fantastic dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate — perfect for a date night. Between the warm hospitality, excellent food, and inviting setting, Vincenzo’s has become a spot we will happily return to.“

“Had a fabulous dinner starting with the calamari and a charcuterie board. Our main dishes included the cacciuco (seafood stew), tagliatelle with bolognese and tortioli pasta with hazelnut pesto, carmelized pearl onions and local roasted assorted mushrooms. For dessert we shared the chocolate tiramisu. Everything was outstanding and the service was excellent. Definitely would recommend!“

“Made a reservation for Valentines Day while my husband and I were in town for a concert. Every place in town was booked solid for the holiday, but we got lucky and got a table last minute!
We were not disappointed one little bit. The hostess and wait staff were very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was laid back with romantic vibes, drinks were mixed to perfection and the food was perfection. We ordered drinks first, a dirty martini for my husband and the sage berry bliss for me. Both were mixed well, mine was sweet but not overly sweet, it was just right and paired well with the burrata appetizer. It was light and sweet with pear, brown butter crumble and honey. It was exactly what we wanted for a light appetizer. For the main course I ordered the king salmon & my husband ordered the NY strip steak. Portions were bigger than we anticipated, but not overwhelming. The flavor combinations were unexpected but delicious on both entrees. We ordered cheesecake for dessert. It was surprisingly light but decadent as well, with a chocolate ganache, strawberry sauce and fresh strawberries. We topped off the meal with a couple of cappuccinos, which were divine.
The entire meal was perfect and delicious. Our server was on point, very helpful with suggestions on entrees as well as our drinks. He never left us waiting & took very good care of us.
The ambience inside the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing with beautiful table linens as well as candles on each table which gave a nice romantic feel to the whole experience. The restaurant was full but not loud at all. It was a unique experience to have full view of the kitchen & chefs while they prepared orders as well as the bartenders while they mixed drinks for the tables.
We will definitely be making Tovalata a part of our trips whenever we travel to Boise in the future. It’s absolutely worth checking out. My husband and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fresh and exquisitely prepared Italian cuisine!“

“Had a great time at Ti Amo this evening. Our waiter Cole answered all our questions, even explained to us what capers are! The food was delicious and the music and atmosphere just added to the experience making it a delightful evening. We got the meatball appetizer, so good! And has the pastas as our entree. Delicious!!!! The manager Josh was very helpful as well and kept checking on the tables so kindly, we appreciated it. The dessert was also AMAZING, had the seasonal which was an apple tart and cast iron cookie mmmmhmm! I can’t wait to come back again! Thank you!!!!“

“My husband and I have been dining here for 5-plus years, so I'm reviewing as a regular customer. I order the seafood lasagna and my husband gets the meat lasagna. In our minds we've found magnificent options, so why change? I"m sure other entrees are also wonderful, though,so I'm committed to trying something different next time. Maybe .We ordered the calamari appetizer in the bar a few months ago and it was better than the typical calamari offered by many restaurants. It was crispy, not greasy, and had a flavorful sauce that didn't taste like marinara from a bottle. Usually, we don't order appetizers here because the entrees are generously portioned. While we rarely have room left for dessert, the few times we've ordered it, it's been decent, but not memorable. That being said, ask your server if berry cobbler is available. If it is, order in advance (hot with vanilla ice cream) and save room for it. You'll thank this review later. Dinners start with the house salad and excellent bread (seriously delicious) and whatever beverages you want. There is a full bar and we've never been served a less-than cocktail. The wine menu is fairly basic with decent, affordable options. There are wines that will appeal to connoisseurs, as well. If you're looking for a place to watch a game and get a drink, the bar is cozy, and friendly with two or three tv's showing various sporting events (or just one if you're there during a Boise State Broncos game). You can order appetizers and dinner and eat in the bar, if you prefer that to the dining room. The restaurant is unpretentious and the people running it are friendly. Service has always been attentive and friendly. Occasionally there is live music. The restaurant is a bit on the small side and when it's busy, it gets noisy. It's not the best place for a quiet conversation and I wouldn't consider it romantic. It's got great food however, and a nice vibe! Dress is casual. Get reservations if you're showing up later than 5:30 on a Friday or Saturday. It's a busy place and is popular with us locals for a reason.“

“We visited Margherita Pizza for the first time tonight. Seeing a wood fired oven in a pizza restaurant is a good first sign. A friendly, personable staff is the second. Tasting a fresh salad, refreshing Italian soda, and delicious pizza (in a style very similar to what we had in Italy) sealed the deal for us! They just gained two more loyal customers.“

“Probably my favorite spot in Meridian to have a drink. Their espresso martini is the best in the valley. And they make a fantastic old-fashioned.
Their flatbeds are fantastic, but I really love their Bolognese. Trust me on this, it’s an amazing Italian dish.
The staff here is great, I’ve gotten to know them well. They treat you well and it truly feels like friends.“

“We had such a great experience at North Italia in The Village at Meridian! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming, and our host, Brooke, set the tone with friendly and attentive service.
We started with the arancini, and wow—they were absolutely amazing. Perfectly crispy on the outside and warm and flavorful on the inside, they were the ideal way to kick off the meal.
Next came the Caesar salad, and I can confidently say it was hands down the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Every bite was just as good as the first—fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. It’s rare for a salad to stand out that much, but this one definitely did.
I also had the Alta Rossa—it was a good one, well-balanced and enjoyable, but not my personal favorite compared to everything else we tried.
To finish, we shared the brookie sundae, and it did not disappoint. All the toppings complemented each other so well, creating the perfect balance of rich, sweet, and indulgent flavors.
Overall, everything from the service to the food was spot on. We’ll definitely be back!“

“First timers. Reserved a 630 table on a Saturday. Seated promptly, and water and service followed quickly. Our server, Lexy, took good care of us, taking our orders and staging our meal out without any rush. Able to enjoy our app and cocktails before mains brought out. Steaks were cooked perfectly, and the meal was fantastic! We’ll be back!“

“Genuinely the best pizza I’ve had in the Boise area — and honestly even better than places I’ve tried in Seattle. You can taste how fresh and authentic everything is, from the ingredients to the final dish. The service was amazing, with perfect pacing between appetizers and entrées. I can’t recommend this place enough. Tony and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the entire experience was truly special.“

“Not a bad choice!! If you're in a bus, truck trailer, or any other big rig, you're screwed for parking. There is 1 spot on the side of the road you can park a bus or similarly sized vehicle, but it seems that employees park in it.“

“I never understand why this place isn’t busier. They have a fantastic happy hour menu. All the servers are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a lovely patio. Every kid gets a full cup of crayons and some coloring books. They have a little arcade room. It’s a great place to bring your family. My kids love the build your own pizza. I’m a huge fan of the mozzarella sticks (I love how thin they are and there’s a good crunch) and the vegetable Alfredo. The portions are huge.“

“I ordered a special for $25. It was an extra pepperoni pizza, large and a 2-liter for $25. I did carry out and placed it for 6:45-7pm pickup because it was 6pm and I was doing uber but needed to feed my family! The food was super fresh and ready at 6:45pm. It looked absolutely amazing. I have ordered here a total of 8 times in the last 5 months and have not been disappointed once. I have always lived by Chicago connection being the absolutely best pizza ever due to there sauce being thick and cheese being thick, all pizzas being a deep dish, it’s amazing! It’s mine and my families favorite pizza 🍕 the woman at the front counter was super nice and friendly. I had already paid online so she just got my pizza and I got my two liter and skedaddled. This Chicago connection isn’t ever busy when I go in so there wasn’t a wait but the pizza is 100% worth it!“

“Was my first time in today. First off, when walking in was greeted by the owner and as soon as I heard his accent I immediately went back to the sandwich shops my grandpa used to take me to in New Jersey. Second, this is the first shop that has made a Philly cheesesteak like they do in Philadelphia. 10 out of 10. I’m definitely going back there as soon as possible“
