“The Sapphire Room, enveloped in a dark, intimate ambiance, offered a mesmerizing evening, particularly accentuated by the live performance of the Apollo Trio, whose jazzy melodies permeated the space, creating a vibrant yet cozy environment. The soft, sapphire-hued lighting gently illuminated the room, crafting a serene and somewhat enchanting backdrop to our night. While our initial visit only allowed us to explore the drinks and dessert, owing to a pre-show dinner elsewhere, the menu hinted at a world of culinary delights that piqued our interest. Our shared Crème Brûlée cheesecake was a delightful endnote, harmonizing creamy and caramelized flavors in a decadent dance on our palates. As we observed the hearty, seemingly sumptuous portions being served to neighboring tables, we mentally bookmarked a future dinner at this venue. The small, inviting dance floor, nestled amidst the tables, offered a spirited space for patrons to immerse themselves in the rhythmic beats, becoming one with the music. “Great place for a date night, we went to celebrate our anniversary which happens to be a couple of days before Valentine’s Day. We choose Crave as a suggestion from friends Ana family and because it had the red romantic vibe (we thought). The lights outside weren’t red like the photo, they’re blue, I think maybe they alternate colors? We ordered a couple of drinks, spinach & artichoke dip, short rib dumplings, oysters on a half shell, lobster crab roll, Thai steak and noodles. Everything was good, except the dumplings which were a bit doughy for my taste. Overall I can see why this is such a popular Eagle restaurant. They’re good for a lot of different occasions.“

“This place is an unknown gem here in the gem state. Yes it looks a bit rough but the waitresses were very attentive. You order from the white board and it has its specials. On Fridays they have this massive crab meat mound with some large shrimp in it. Is 45.00 and it will feed two people. If is a hidden gem.“

“I spent about 3 hours here on St. Patrick's Day. It was my first time here. The weather was good so we could be outside. My rating of 4 stars for atmosphere is based on being outside; I cannot say what it is like to spend time inside. The inside seemed like what one would expect of a neighborhood bar.I had to park far down the side street from the pub. There is very little on-site parking. It was not surprising to have to park far away given this place is on the corner of a busy main street and a lot of people attended this holiday eventThe staff had decorated for the holiday and they were dressed in green as were many of the patrons. It was crowded so we were lucky to get a place to sit.One of the first things I noticed was the stench of cigarette smoke. It was strong even though we were outside. Later it was not noticeable so the smokers must have left. The smoke and inadequate seating are why I have given 4 stars for atmosphere.Patrons had to go to the bar inside to get their drinks. There was a bar outside but I didn't see staff there the couple of times I passed by. The bar was super busy so they ran out of glasses. The staff members were working hard to take care of everyone. The staff were friendly and efficient.There were so many people attending this event that it was too loud to be able to hear my table mates. Again, not surprising.At 3:00 a rock band started playing. The music was fun but it was way too loud--even for outside. I noticed this pub regularly has bands outside in the summer.The pub had a counter set up outside where they were serving plates of corned beef and vegetables. Patrons paid $8 inside at the bar and took a token to the food table. The food was good and was like you would get at a family meal. The food wasn't hot because the staff had the lids off the roasting ovens in order to seve the food. The food was good anyway, the portions were generous and the price was right.After I ate I left. There were bagpipers later in the day. I was told that they were not too loud, which is good!I think this pub is fine for a neighborhood bar. For people who like hanging out outside and listening to music during the summer at a neighborhood bar it is a good place to go.“

“The Cactus was my first stop 30 years ago on my 21st birthday and has never disappointed since. Reasonably priced drinks and reasonably nice people/staff. Best dive bar in Boise, imho. No food. Except for the pumpkin pie eating contest!!!

“What history and vibe in this lounge! The character and vibes this lounge entails is like no other. So so worth it. It has privacy rooms and booths as well as areas that are great for mingling. There are a variety of unique drinks to choose from. The service was fantastic. Carlos was very knowledgeable and guided us in our decision. No food is offered yet but I was informed that it is coming soon. You won’t be disappointed in your experience here.“
“I went to the Atlas this weekend visiting family, it was awesome. Jake was great and Nick was maybe the best bartender I have ever met, lately when i go to a craft cocktail bar, "mixologist's" are kind of boring and lack personality. Nick on the other hand is a real bartender, he was absolutely the funniest bartender I have ever met, it was like me and my girlfriend were getting a free stand up comedy show and fantastic drinks! If you wanna have a super fun time go in on a Saturday and chat with those guys! Also if you are visiting from California like i was, make sure to tip really well, bartenders in Idaho make 5$ an hour plus tips, vs where i am from they get 20-25$ + tips.“

“OMG, if you haven’t been to the Neurolux in downtown Boise, you are seriously missing out! My fiancé, some friends, and I hit up their Emo Night, and it was totally lit. The vibes were immaculate as we belted out classic punk rock anthems and danced until our eyeliner literally couldn’t take it anymore.

“During our roadtrip we stopped over in Boise and got onto our handy dandy GT Caddy app, where we came across this gem. From the moment my husband and I walked through the door we were treated like family. The locals were very friendly. We were invited to play GT with the local boys and had a wonderful time. The server was great, yhe beer was cold. If you like a standard no fluff backwoods bar this is the place for you!We did not have any food, so I can't rate that.“

“I like this place because I've been going here for years, and even if it has been several months since going there, when I do, it feels like a little reunion. I know the bartender and a lot of the regulars. And, it's one of the few places left where you can smoke a cigarette, while having a drink.“
