“Great place for a date night, we went to celebrate our anniversary which happens to be a couple of days before Valentine’s Day. We choose Crave as a suggestion from friends Ana family and because it had the red romantic vibe (we thought). The lights outside weren’t red like the photo, they’re blue, I think maybe they alternate colors? We ordered a couple of drinks, spinach & artichoke dip, short rib dumplings, oysters on a half shell, lobster crab roll, Thai steak and noodles. Everything was good, except the dumplings which were a bit doughy for my taste. Overall I can see why this is such a popular Eagle restaurant. They’re good for a lot of different occasions.“

“Mother Earth Brewing in downtown Boise is a great find — relaxed, lively, and full of local charm. We discovered it while searching for the best breweries in Boise and were glad we did. The spacious outdoor patio offers plenty of seating and a welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying a beer or even fantastic pizza from the on-site food truck, which looked (and smelled) fantastic — several people nearby were enjoying their slices. Inside, there’s ample room, a big bar, and a large TV for catching a game. The atmosphere is laid-back and friendly, including friendly dogs. Chatting with a few locals confirmed what we suspected: this spot is a Boise favorite for good reason!“

“I went to cactus yesterday, during the day time, for early birthday celebrations and Halley was working. She made me laugh and smile and also welcomed my friend who was visiting from out of town! I really appreciated Halley for making my day feel so special.

“My friend and I had dinner last night and it was fabulous! I had the mango habanero shrimp tacos and they were delicious! Great service and I loved that the water glasses were real glass and not cheap plastic. It's the small things that matter too. Definitely recommend!“

“By far the best Indian food in the Treasure Valley! All food (except naan) is GLUTEN free and delicious. Special thanks to the staff as they had just closed for lunch break but still let us come in for a to go order. We will definitely be back!“

“Divey dive bar. Went for breakfast. Service was good food could have been better. Hashbrowns tasted like the were soaked in rancid oil. Eggs were cooled fine but there was a slight rancid oil taste on the ham as well. Drinks were cold and fast. Probably be a good bar for $2 happy hour pints.“

“I am probably the pickiest eater in Boise. Today is my third time at Sam’s to try the new menu. The first 2 times I got the chicken club sandwich, both times it was amazing. Today I tried the chicken French dip and they did not disappoint 😋😋.“
“McCleary’s is hands-down my favorite dive bar in Boise. The vibe is immaculate, and the bartenders do a great job making sure everyone’s taken care of. There’s both an indoor bar and an outdoor bar. The crowd here is surprisingly young, and the backyard has tons of games. Giant beer pong, table tennis, Jenga, and more.
On Saturdays, they bring in live music, which is honestly the only day I avoid. It gets so loud you can’t really have a conversation, and it just isn’t enjoyable for me. Every other night, though, I love it, especially Fridays! I always end up meeting fun people, and the drinks are inexpensive.
If you’re looking for a spot to hang out with friends or meet a younger crowd, this is the place. If you’re into loud music and don’t care about talking, then Saturday nights are your jam.
This bar shines in the spring, summer, and fall. I skip it in the winter because the backyard doesn’t stay warm. They only have a couple of fire pits, and while they work, they’re not enough to make it cozy, you will still feel frigid. The indoor area is smaller than your typical dive bar: small, cramped, and it fills up fast when it’s cold out. But when the weather’s nice, this is the best dive bar in the valley.
Oh, and I don’t think they actually sell food, but every now and then there’s a food truck parked outside, which is a nice bonus.“

“Came out two evenings just recently and both times the specialty crafted drinks were divine, the bartenders are fun and friendly, and the burger and fries I ordered from the food truck were yummy! I always recommend this place to my friends.“

“From a band perspective, they have done an awesome job from beginning to end with EpicUnion. From clear and detailed contracts to thoughtful and proactive pre-gig communication — to phenomenal promotion. Plus - the work of the entire production crew on night of is outstanding— it’s a lot of work to coordinate sound, lighting, door and other production elements for an 8-person band! And the staff is always friendly and accommodating to the crowd. Heritage hosts some of our funnest gigs and we appreciate them very much!“

“Very cute place, has a good vibe, refreshingly unpretentious for downtown. Good food, not a huge menu but if you’re just going for oysters there’s a pretty good variety of options. You won’t get very private seating but it is comfortable enough for dinner with friends.“

“OMG, if you haven’t been to the Neurolux in downtown Boise, you are seriously missing out! My fiancé, some friends, and I hit up their Emo Night, and it was totally lit. The vibes were immaculate as we belted out classic punk rock anthems and danced until our eyeliner literally couldn’t take it anymore.

“During our roadtrip we stopped over in Boise and got onto our handy dandy GT Caddy app, where we came across this gem. From the moment my husband and I walked through the door we were treated like family. The locals were very friendly. We were invited to play GT with the local boys and had a wonderful time. The server was great, yhe beer was cold. If you like a standard no fluff backwoods bar this is the place for you!We did not have any food, so I can't rate that.“
