“I love Acme Bakeshop! Their sourdough bread is my favorite - fluffy and delicious. I frequently buy loaves at the Co-Op and they are always high quality. I have also gone through the bakery for their holiday orders and the process was easy with no issues for pick-up. Their ciabatta rolls and cranberry sourdough loaf are amazing seasonal items I love having at family gatherings during the holidays. I'm happy I get to support a local business that consistently bakes the best bread!“

“we are visiting from Utah for a few days. we randomly chose to go to Romio's for dinner. what a great choice! we ordered Greek platter. there was enough food there for two of us. our food came out to us nice and hot and absolutely delicious! we were so full that we had to take our tiramisu to go. our waiter was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. we highly recommend Romio's. we' ll be back the next time we come to Boise. “Our neighbor is always scouting for new restaurants to try. She found Bacquet's and she and her husband invited my wife and I plus two other couples to join them. Reservations were made.

Bacquet's is a French restaurant, located closer the east end of State St. in Eagle, at the corner of State and Hill. There is a very nice patio area as well as the indoor dining area. The inside is nicely decorated with paintings and movie posters, for example, Casablanca. The tables have nice tablecloths and, of course, cloth napkins. It was a hot day so we sat indoors.

Our server was a very nice female brunette. I'm sorry that I did not ask her for her name. She explained the menu and the specials, and took excellent care of us. One thing she emphasized was that she would not rush us. The entree would not be started until after we received our appetizers. We were to have a fine dining experience.

A bottle of wine was ordered. Appetizers included the Ocean Flatbread, with prawns and scallops as toppers, and the Porcini Purses with Wild Mushrooms. They also served up a tasty bread, with whipped butter. For the entrees, my wife and I had the Prawn Aglio e Olio, a pappardelle pasta dish with Black Tiger Prawns, garlic, and red pepper flakes, tossed in olive oil, which brought a little heat. Others also got this dish, while others ordered the veal piccata.

All of the food was delicious, and, again, the service was excellent. They did not rush us, to the point where we arrived at 6pm, and stayed until after 9pm, when they close at 8pm. So, they were very gracious in allowing us our time.

Bacquet's in not inexpensive, so some may want to reserve their visit for a special occasion. However, I highly recommend this establishment. I was a wonderful experience!“

“What a fun place with interesting, delicious Basque food! We had the fried peppers and split the lamb grinder sandwich which included croquettes as a side choice. All was so flavorful and filling. We knew nothing of Basque cuisine so this was a great introduction. The service was also really great, warm, welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend a visit here!“

“The experience here was amazing! We ordered online, I walked in and said our name, it was ready and waiting right there for me. I turned around and went home. When I got there, my wife and I put the kids to bed and spent time together before having dinner. When we opened it we were in for a big surprise! The food was great, but they even took the time to write a little thank you note on each of our napkins. Like most pizza chains, Pizza Twist uses frozen, pre-formed dough. Known for using locally sourced ingredients and premium quality GMO-free meat, Pizza Twist offers traditional and Indian-influenced pizzas. They have Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, and Halal options On 7/1/23, I tried Pizza Twist in Boise for the first time. I ordered a small Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza ($13.99), which is a customer favorite. Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza has their signature Tandoori sauce, fresh diced mozzarella cheese, sliced lamb, crisp red onions, spicy jalapeno, juicy pineapple, fresh diced; garlic, ginger, and green chilies, garnished with fresh cilantro. My experience at Pizza Twist exceeded my expectations! The service was excellent even though they were very busy the night I visited. Owner Raj took my order. He asked how spicy I wanted my pizza. I told him that I like spicy food and asked him to make me the Pizza the way he would, if making it for himself. My pizza was ready to go in about 20 minutes. My pizza was still hot when I got home, which is about a 10 minute drive. The pizza crust was unremarkable, but the flavor combination of the toppings was outstanding! I wouldn’t normally order pizza with pineapple, but the sweetness of the pineapple paired perfectly with the lamb and spicy jalapeño. I understand why the Spicy Lamb Kabob is a customer favorite. It’s unlike any pizza I’ve ever had, with a unique combination of flavors that is downright addictive. I would definitely order it again. Next, I would like to try the Butter Chicken pizza. Highly Recommended!!!“

“My experience at Smoky Mountain was awesome!! They have an excellent and reasonably-priced wine selection. I highly recommend the Joel Gott Cabernet. The pizza crust was delicious, especially with the new parmesan crust. I ordered the Valley Veg and it was loaded with fresh veggies. The ceasar salad was great, too! It had slivered red onion and the flavor was excellent. In addition to the food, I really appreciated how the team treated me. I travel a lot and am usually dining alone. Most restaurants seat me at the bar, but they gave me my own table. Thank you for the great food and for treating me so well!!

Vegetarian options: Excellent veggie pizza!! The Valley Veg was loaded with fresh veggies including mushrooms, green bell pepper, onion, and tomato. The most veggies I've ever had on a pizza.“
