FYI - I’ve NEVER reviewed any restaurant negatively. First one. Ever.
Decided to give this a chance after my last experience, the only good thing about the experience it was the wait staff, they were very helpful in resolving a problems with the bill.
Happy hour is confusing, 22oz beers are $5…. Order a 16 and it’s 6-7 dollars depending on the pour. Had I known that I would have ordered a 22oz, and drank 16oz. The beer pouring system failed while...read full review
New menu change takes away the create your own pasta. That was the go-to for all 4 members of my family. They haven't had fried mozzarella in months. That's our kid's favorite. We went a week or two ago and it was closed even though it said open online. Just not a good restaurant experience in any way. Hoping another Italian restaurant opens up in Moscow someday.
Used to be my favorite place to eat in Moscow. However the quality has gone way down and I can only wonder why. I ordered a calzone and what I ended up getting was a deformed pizza. The dough on the top had completely pulled back and it was just a wide open mess. No basil for the caprese appetizer and no mozzarella for fried mozzarella. The best...read full review

Based on the reviews, Gambino's | Italian is a restaurant with very mixed opinions. The garlic twists (or garlic knots) are consistently praised as delicious and a must-try, along with the fried tortellini. However, many other menu items receive poor reviews. The chicken parm is described as excellent by some, but others found it rubbery with hard noodles and watery, flavorless sauce. The alfredo sauce lacks flavor, tasting like milk with a hint of cheese. The calazone is huge with a ton of cheese but has an excess of grease. The pizza is just okay with a poor crust texture. Service is also inconsistent; while some guests had great service, others noted the waitstaff has a hard time checking on tables, and getting utensils can be a problem. The restaurant can be loud, especially on a busy night. The lemonade tastes like Fanta, not actual lemonade. Overall, the food is considered not worth the high price, with many guests saying they would only return for the garlic twists and fried tortellini.
