“My husband and I came in on a pretty busy day and didn’t expect the personal experience and super friendly staff we encountered while there. The owner was the absolute sweetest person! We had just ate before we came so didn’t try the food but the soup smelled amazing. We did 2 tasting flights and really loved everything we tried the star for me was the red sangria we had to take a bottle home. I had tried sangrias at every winery on the trail and that was by far the clear winner of the day and the only bottle of sangria I took home. I can’t wait to go back for another visit”

“Amazing food and service! We came in as a big group with kids and were lucky to get a table quickly. We tried a bunch of dishes - suggested by our friend: the Dervish Bowl, Trainwreck, smashed fried potatoes, cinnamon and lemon blueberry Dutch, and the classic combo bowl with chicken sausage. The chicken sausage really stood out — super flavorful and cooked just right. I actually wished I had more of it! The lemon blueberry Dutch was a bit too sweet for me, but still tasty. Even the coffee was smooth and easy to enjoy, and I’m not a big coffee drinker. Our waitress was so nice and helpful! This place is such a gem in Cobden — we’ll definitely be back!”

“I really love Pomona Winery. It's so simple and rustic. I love that it has cabin vibes with the porch and being surrounded by trees. I also love that their wines aren't made of grapes, but of apples and other fruit. It makes them stand out. And their apple wines taste so good. I think the option of being able to bring picnic food of your own is also great. Lastly, their staff are really sweet and hospitable.”

“I’m in town with my husband and best friend for the eclipse, like so many upstate folks. I love this area and want to support independent businesses instead of chains, so we ordered here for dinner! We were exhausted from travel, so we ordered for pickup. They accommodated very nicely with our food ready in 20 minutes and the pickup counter was polite and efficient. Flavors were impeccable, but for the price, my friend with ahi tuna and my husband with pork chops expected larger portions. YMMV I suppose - I had the cashew chicken and was perfectly happy with serving size. date night vibes impeccable, 4/5 stars: a great stop for more refined fare on any trip in the area!”
