“Chubby's grill and garage is a wonderful place to grab a big juicy burger, fries, and appetizers. Great food specials weekly, as well as drink specials. It is family friendly. The staff are all super friendly people. The owner is a stand up guy, and you can tell he really cares about his customers and he treats his employees with love and respect like any great owner would. I would HIGHLY reccomend this place to ANYONE looking to have some great food, drinks, and fun. The hours are 11am to 11pm, kitchen is 11am to 10pm. this place is an absolute gem 💎.“

“This is a perfect good ol'tavern. Exactly what I like if I go to have a drink. Bartender s are great, atmosphere is fun and friendly, it's a cheers for the motorcycle club and friends. Always a good time. Sam and Woody are not serving you it Missy, Michelle, or as they call Cheyenne " the new girl" you can't go wrong with any of the three. And if you are lucky enough to run into Elliot or some other regular faces, you have a great day ahead!“

“The atmosphere was accommodating to each individual preference...one side quiet and open with slot machines, while the other side was poppin'. They offered karaoke and the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves quite well. The bartender Scott was on point and very polite. All in all good place to go to with friends or a significant other!“

“I've stopped in here a few times since I live just down the road from it. The times I've gone in, it wasn't too busy, but they tell me they have a good time on a Saturday night. It's really not your best bet if you want food. They serve your basic frozen pizzas and the like, but nothing remarkable. Sammi's Subs, next door, is another story though. EXCELLENT sandwiches (but they aren't open late). Like another reviewer said, I think Norb's is a great dive-bar with some pool tables and darts. Probably the most fun if you bring a friend or two, and preferably ones who like to play pool or darts. I believe they were cash only at the bar, and they didn't really have a lot of drink specials when I went. So bring cash.“

“Tuesday night special was free chicken chunks with $4 of food, and they were perfection. I'm generally not a nugget fan, but these impressed me. Not over breaded and cooked to the outer crisp/ inner tender that made chewing a pleasure. The other specials were $5 steak tacos (also very good), and $12
chimichanga. My son got one of those and it looked great. Their side salads are always good. I particularly appreciate the finely chopped tomato bits. The waitress forgot us for an extended bit, so not perfect service, but she was pleasant and was attentive going forward when she realized we hadn't gotten our food.“

“My big sister helps run the place on the weekends and works the kitchen . it's a nice quiet relaxing spot to play some pool, play video games, darts , have some drinks and great food plus, the atmosphere is always chilled. I highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink for only 6$, or for a starter the cauliflower bites coupled with mini tacos are also pretty great. Brews are solid priced and reasonable and so are shots it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks or hang out with friends and get together.“

“I have been a long-time customer of St. louis Happy Hour since 2008 but the service I experienced yesterday was very disrespectful on 11/08/2025. I arrived there about 5:15 pm and ordered a steak sandwich and a long Island iced tea because they were out of the Heineken beer. Dion was my server. I sat at a table with a friend after 20 minutes had passed my friend paid her tab and left and I sat nursing my drink i received a call from a friend who wanted some food which I ordered from Dion which was a steak and potatoes no onions and a cheeseburger that was 20 minutes later and still no food, while sitting waiting watching customers come in and out, watching waitresses take orders and take people their food some people coming in 15 and 20 minutes after I have been there I'm looking like wow why is it taking so long for my food to come out just then the people sitting 2 tables from me who arrived about 15 minutes after me received their food which was the same thing I ordered so I asked Dion where is my food she replied I am not the cook 30 seconds later she bought out my food which was cold like it has been sitting for a while so I let her know my food was cold and she got upset and her voice elevated asking me did I want it remade. which now everyone is looking as she id talking " no music is playing " so now everyone is looking our way, so now it's about 6:20pm my friend that I ordered the food for ids standing looking in shock like why she is yelling like that and she wanted to cancel her food. so, I canceled my food, but I paid for all the food to keep the confusion down. Dion then bought the to go food and we left. I patronize at least 5 days a week sometimes twice a day I tip well and always spend nothing less than $50 on average. when it gets to the point that a paying customer is no longer important to the business, or you feel like you don't need their business than it's a problem. Happy Hour is a great establishment, great owners, great waitress, great customer It's like Cheers. I am very disappointed. when your hard-earned money doesn't mean anything and people think that you have to be disrespected and pay them is some different stuff. You know what they say good service goes a long way, but bad service goes further!“

All he has are chicken and fries? Most of the time, he never had fish. It's sometimes shrimp.“

“The food was prepared very well and the 2 servers were working their butts off. You could tell that this is THE place for working guys to get their lunch. Website shows breakfast is available but the server said they no longer do that. Room is very noisy.
There are no outside doors to the bathroom rooms so if you are seated near them smells could become part of your meal. At our visit, there was no toilet paper in the handicapped stall which made me think the bathrooms are not serviced very often. This was a half hour after opening and it was an industrial size paper dispenser with 2 sides - both empty.“
