“Wow, just wow. This place has everything and it’s so good.Special today was tuna on croissant and cauliflower soup. Holy hell over exceeds all expectations.Kids got chicken strips and we got some shrimp, corned beef and cabbage.There really is nothing at all here you can order that you won’t just love. It’s all made with heart and soul.You’re missing out if you don’t stop in and partake.Kid-friendliness: Ice cream for dessert was phenomenal too.“

“Stopped in with the fam, Nice place, owner was extremely nice and came over to introduce herself and make sure everything was good. Chicken dishes were fantastic, my burger was good. The bread basket had homemade bread. The decor and atmosphere looked like it was straight out of a saloon in Oklahoma or Wyoming and I loved it. Could've used some country or bluegrass music in the background. All around good place.Kid-friendliness: This isn't just a bar, its a restaurant with regular tables plus a bar.“

“The first thing I noticed was how clean it was! No weird smells. No loud music, or tvs or gambling machines. Saturday around noon, place only had 2 other families. Waitress was fantastic. Food arrived hot and delicious. Kid was confused because he ordered chocolate chip pancakes but the chips were only on top. He ate them any way. Omelette was good and hashbrowns were perfect. Coffee tasted burnt. I drank anyway. If going through the area, stop and enjoy. We will stop buy again when in area. **Heads up** Cash or local check.“

“We were on our way back to our 5th wheel at Mendota from the John Deere Museum. We were hungry and I looked up what was close on Yelp!! We just passed Porky's...we turned around and we're so excited we did!!!! The best hamburgers we've ever had!!! I was able to see our cook from our table. Clean kitchen and wonderful cook! We both told her how good and delicious our burgers were!!! Cooked to perfection!!! Our waitress was exceptional!! Now this looked like a biker bar and grill...my thought...but we are so thankful we stopped!!!“

“I’ve been going here with my dad on weekends for at least the past 15 years! The Owners remember when I was a kid. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent staff and owners. Parking on Sundays may be a challenge but that is generally their busiest day. Never been disappointed the last 15 years I’ve been going here. “My son and I make at least one trip here every here on our cycles. Once we get out of the traffic hell hole known as Chicago, it's a nice ride out this way. We always stop here for lunch. Good food, and the locals are a great bunch of people.“
