“Our family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 young children went for lunch, and we all loved it !!! The service was fantastic, and our server was excellent ! The food was fresh , very tasty and presented very well. I think we were all actually suprised just how much we liked it , it was that good!!!. The salad was one of the best I've ever had , and they offer small and large options for them which is great. The soup was so flavorful and filled with chicken. My husbands wrap was delicious, and the fries were very good as well. We decided to try there banana bread pudding to go and we enjoyed it very much even after warming it up later!! It was a great experience that left us talking about what we will order next time. This is a great spot and we hope it's here to stay !!Kid-friendliness: They offer free kids meals on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult meal ! “This place is outstanding! The food is great and so are all the people who work there. I have been there when the service is a little slower but the atmosphere and the bartender make the difference. I have eaten there many times for lunch and dinner and it never disappoints, and they do a good takeout too. I regularly go there for lunch with my mom, she loves it! When people come to visit we always go to Oliverii for at least one meal. It is a DO NOT MISS location in this cute town.“
“We had our wedding reception at The Barrel Room @ Harbor Brewing Company, Lake Villa.Firstly, let me say that the staff is incredible, passionate, and extremely supportive. Not only do you sense that when you are enjoying the public bar facing Cedar Avenue, but you feel that especially when you host a private event in their premier entertainment space: The Barrel Room.We worked with Alyssa from start to finish. She is an incredible person, helping us every step of the way. She made incredible suggestions to us, relieving a lot of our stress from the experience, which you cannot put a price on.The overall atmosphere is incredible. What they were able to achieve with their beautiful space is going to liven up downtown Lake Villa.We held our ceremony at Lehmann Park and our catering was from Galati's next door to HBC. (Please check out Galati's and my review for them.)Between Harbor Brewing and Galati's, downtown Lake Villa has two 'anchor' establishments that will surely cultivate an incredible future. “We stopped at this place for lunch recently. Very good food and fast service. Everything is reasonably priced compared to other hotdog places. Portions are very generous and fries are perfectly crispy. Cheese sauce on side was great and not watery, gyro was perfect and grilled chicken sandwich was very juicy. Would highly recommend it and will definitely be back“

Food at the Round Lake Beach location is available at the Pizza place in the same plaza who will bring your food to you at the bar. Loved going on DJ Bingo nights, Jesse is the best!! “I stopped in today by chance, I was hungry and have passed this place several times over the years. This place was amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken Flatbread which was also delicious. We also had the wonton cheese sticks, they were awesome. Our waitress Makayla was great, very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu items. The bar tender Emily also greeted us and asked how the drinks were. Great place, very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.“
“I cannot state this with enough enthusiasm. This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is outstanding, unlike any other restaurant in the area. As for this place being RACIST?!? That reviewer either clearly did not go into the restaurant or they just want to cause controversy, as they have people of all races WORKING THERE and the staff is treated very well, like they are all family! That comment is clearly insane and looking for attention. Back to my review. The spaghetti with sausage is so authentic and delicious, the tomato bisque soup is clearly homemade and delicious! The mediteranean salad is mindblowing. This is truly authentic, homemade food and all seasoned PERFECTLY. We are always loyal customers of Lauretta's and will definitely be back!!!“

This place passes the vibe check, no judgement zone, accepts everyone as long as you don't act a fool! “I ordered a pizza for takeout on a Thursday night. It was the Dave’s Special with sausage and green pepper. The crust was crispy and the toppings were generous. It’s not the cheapest pizza in the area but it tasted great and reheated well for leftovers. We will be back.“
“Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“
