“I cannot state this with enough enthusiasm. This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is outstanding, unlike any other restaurant in the area. As for this place being RACIST?!? That reviewer either clearly did not go into the restaurant or they just want to cause controversy, as they have people of all races WORKING THERE and the staff is treated very well, like they are all family! That comment is clearly insane and looking for attention. Back to my review. The spaghetti with sausage is so authentic and delicious, the tomato bisque soup is clearly homemade and delicious! The mediteranean salad is mindblowing. This is truly authentic, homemade food and all seasoned PERFECTLY. We are always loyal customers of Lauretta's and will definitely be back!!!“

“I recently worked a wedding at Harbor Brewing for an outside caterer and was very impressed with the staff (great bartenders!), facilities, and ambiance. The happy couple and their guests all seemed to have had a wonderful evening and throughly enjoyed the selection of drinks offered by the venue. In talking with the attendees (and from clearing their empty glasses) it was clear they found the quality of that selection far exceeded the run of the mill menu available elsewhere. Moreover, the bartenders did an great job keeping the lines short, the beverages fresh, and although I unfortunately wasn’t able to banter with them myself every guest walked away from their interactions with a smile on their face. The area in which the event took place was both spacious and beautifully decorated/styled. The brewery’s aesthetic is tasteful and the layout allowed for plenty of room for the crowd to dance and mingle. Personally I thought the wall of whiskey barrels was a brilliant addition - wether it was simply meant as storage or a design element chosen specifically for the look it really brought the room together. This may seem like a weird feature to bring up but having worked tons of weddings at dozens of venues over the years I always take note of the restroom accommodations in an event space because as a party progresses underperforming in this arena can create a ton of problems. Here the bathrooms not only fit the theme (extra points for the keg urinals!) but were kept clean and easily accommodated the parties needs. Finally, the venue is located in Lake Villa’s downtown area somewhat near the train station with plenty of parking for guests available on site as well as near by on Cedar street. Finding the building was no trouble at all and leaving when the event was over was hassle free. Altogether Harbor Brewing is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a space to host an event; a beautiful venue with some wonderful staff pouring outstanding beer will make for a night you and your friends won’t soon forget.“

“No wake is great. The servers and bartenders are really friendly. The prices at this bar are always reasonable. I always enjoy the food when I visit. Atmosphere is fun too. This bar is popular but gets more crowded in the summer months. Located on the Fox River it's always fun to stop while boating. They also have gas for refueling boats. There are also a lot machines and there is outdoor seating in the summer months. I would highly recommend visiting no wake.“
“This was my first visit to Greg's Frozen Custard and I was impressed. I didn't know why my GPS was redirecting me through a neighborhood (Pleasure Drive - lol), but you have to enter off South Lake (by Auto Zone). We drove up and it was one of those stand-alone structures that you occasionally see (like a big ice cream cone) that are usually popular for the novelty. The flavor of the day was butter pecan. I ordered a scoop of butter pecan and added hot fudge and whipped cream. I was surprised by how thick and creamy and rich the custard was. The hot fudge was also thick, not a thin syrup, and this was a decadent treat. There were plenty of pecans in the custard. My friend had the chocolate custard and that was thick and rich with a satisfying flavor. We liked that the custard isn't overly sweet. There were just a handful of customers when we arrived but shortly thereafter the parking lot started to fill up. There is a gazebo with some seating but this was a rainy spring evening so we ate in the car. Now that I know you're here, Greg's Custard, I'll be back to try your other flavors.“

“It's an ice cream stand. Return from the Marytown Shrine, I couldn't ignore the 'flavor of the say - blueberry " sign calling me. Many flavor served in cones, shakes, Sundays or concretes. I had a the blueberry as a malt. Proper flavor levels for the blueberry and the sweetness, not overly sweet. Great formulation, thick but it would move through the straw. Solid place. Service? The got the order correct, prepared it promptly and the change was correct. No problems. Would return“
“Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“
“The food was delicious as always, and the service was great. Tina was an excellent waiter. The Alpine omelette had a lovely flavor and the Door County Melt with Gluten Free bread was remarkable. The coffee, however, tasted like it was on the burner too long. One of the pleasant features of coming to Egg Harbor was the flavor of the day coffee and we’re disappointed that they no longer carry that. The specialty coffees do not make up for that. It does not have a traditional protein powder taste that is bad, they are genuinely good! They have other options like coffees and teas that look great as well. Plenty of menu variety, even the pup meal includes a choice of chicken or burger, white or brown rice. My favorite dish is the Tex Mex salad. The outdoor atmosphere has great vibes… big fire pit in the middle, side ‘walls’ that roll down in the inclement weather, tvs showing the best sporting events.“

Entering through a back door into a narrow space was odd and not the most welcoming set-up, especially having parked on the street along Milwaukee Ave. The dining area was comfortable, aside from a couple guests who were loud and could be heard from several tables away. Service was good and pleasant though robotic and somewhat forced. The gentleman refilling water was superb and always on his game! We never had less than half a glass full---much appreciated! We came to Chrissoulas, having read excellent reviews. The food was good, including the pasta with chorizo and octopus and gyro. The pork medallions were only three, however, with a whole lot of salad, leaving one guest in our party inadequately full and value for the money poor. Menu options were overpriced in general though not outrageous. Two televisions playing sports over the bar did not seem in keeping with a fine dining establishment, but rather with a sports bar. Overall Chrissoulas was a decent experience with good food but not deserving of the amazing reviews seen elsewhere---a solid 3-4 stars out of 5.“

The food was fresh , very tasty and presented very well. I think we were all actually suprised just how much we liked it , it was that good!!!. The salad was one of the best I've ever had , and they offer small and large options for them which is great. The soup was so flavorful and filled with chicken. My husbands wrap was delicious, and the fries were very good as well. We decided to try there banana bread pudding to go and we enjoyed it very much even after warming it up later!! It was a great experience that left us talking about what we will order next time. The hotel looks brand spankin new and is really pretty! The restaurant space is beautifully done too, and there looks to be a great patio space for when the weather's nice. Our server Betsey was very warm and welcoming. The menu had pretty light offerings, but since I was hungry I went with the Oaken burger. I really liked the burger and the brioche bun it was served on. Plus, the truffle fries were fantastic! Overall really pleased with my dining experience here, and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal too!“
