“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. We tried Chennai Central's Thursday Chaat & Dosa Buffet Launch, and it was an exceptional experience! The event drew a huge crowd, but the efficient service ensured that everyone had a great time. The ambiance of the dining room was also noteworthy, with nicely designed partitions that provided a sense of privacy, making it comfortable for guests to enjoy their meals without feeling crowded. The food spread was truly impressive, with a wide variety of dishes that were fresh, authentic, and flavorful, all served piping hot. The highlight of our meal was the freshly steamed idlis, which were soft and fluffy. Our server, Sai, politely informed us about the batch, and it was a treat to enjoy them straight from the steamer. This attention to detail reminded me of my family's restaurant, where my dad would famously say, "Idlis are never sitting around waiting for customers; instead, our customers patiently wait for fresh idlis steamed to order!" It's a reminder to appreciate the value of slow, carefully prepared meals, resonating deeply with my father's motto at Chowpatti Vegetarian Restaurant - "what we cook at home for the four of us, is now being cooked for all of us in this dining room." The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, adding to the overall warmth of the evening. The food was exceptional, with standout dishes like the Masala Dosa served with three delicious chutneys that burst with authentic, bold flavors. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the personal touch from Chef Divakar and Chef Ramesh, who made rounds through the dining area to ensure everyone was enjoying their meal. They even took the time to share tips on how to properly enjoy their famous layered Parottas with Korma gravy, the authentic way – by generously smothering the Korma onto the Parottas and letting the rich flavors soak in before digging in, a delightful touch! We discovered that this is a chef-owned and operated restaurant, and it's clear that their passion for authentic South Indian cuisine shines through in every dish they serve. The combo sandwich with brisket and pork, is phenomenal. The Porkys Beans with brisket, left me speechless. Outstanding customer service to go along with the great taste. “We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! Experienced the slight changes in taste as times progressed and (i assume) the next generation took over the business. No longer live in the state but I still find myself craving Wayne's pizza at least once a year.“

The pork belly is my favorite because of the fat, the meat was crispy and tender. I ordered the karaage don (mayo & poached egg) as my main course. I believe the teriyaki sauce was overdone. As a result, the chicken lost its crunch.“

“Located in the food court of the Mitsuwa Marketplace (on the west side of the food court just to the right of the hallway to the bathrooms), this Japanese restaurant had a good selection of food, in usual Japanese tradition- had visual representations of all the meals, and the prices were good. This was my wife & I's first time eating at this place, and we enjoyed the food a lot. They accept cash which is huge in my opinion as a lot of the businesses and restaurants inside Mitsuwa do not accept cash; I tipped them as a result & told them Thank You for accepting cash. The lady who took our order was very friendly and answered our questions about the food with a huge smile on her face. Seating is located in the general food court area so you can't really say much about the food court other than it is very busy if you go around lunch time on the weekends, but you'll find plenty of seating for lunch on a week day.

Plenty of fun things to do before or after eating in Mitsuwa as well from the grocery store, book store, One Piece card game store, boba tea, and lots of other restaurants and food vendors.“
