“They had yakitori, which I tried. I ordered the chicken thigh, pork belly, and sausage. Everything is cooked to perfection and smells good from the charcoal fire. The pork belly is my favorite because of the fat, the meat was crispy and tender. I ordered the karaage don (mayo & poached egg) as my main course. I believe the teriyaki sauce was overdone. As a result, the chicken lost its crunch.“

“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “My daughter and I traveled from DC to Chicago for a cheerleading competition. We decided to try Porky's... I am not making this up, hands down the best BBQ I've had in years. The combo sandwich with brisket and pork, is phenomenal. The Porkys Beans with brisket, left me speechless. Outstanding customer service to go along with the great taste. Honestly wish I lived in the area, so I could eat here more often.“

“Fantastic Sichuan food with a real kick! ? I had the Boiled Beef in Spicy Broth, and the spice level was just right—tingling but not overpowering. The portion sizes were generous, and the beef was super nice. The service was fast, and the staff were attentive . Definitely coming back for more!“

We also ordered a tiramisu cake, which was very decadent and rich (much better than what we had at Tous Les Jours) and a slice of Kahlua. However, they hardly had anything on display that early Saturday afternoon, it's best to order in advance to avoid waiting for them to prepare. Just wished they had more cakes on display. The staff is friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend it.“

“Came here from Dallas. It was like $9 for a bowl of udon absolutely loaded with chicken. The chicken was unbelievably tender and the broth was super good. Like unironically, this was the best udon I've ever had and it was like $5 cheaper than what I'm used to in Dallas. And the lady was very nice.“

“We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! We will definitely be back as every aspect of our experience was very enjoyable.“

“Santouka is probably the most popular option in the Mitsuwa food court: the line can get long at certain times of day.
Ramen menu offers three sizes for a range of appetites, along with combinations with small rice bowls topped with pork, fish, or other meat.
Customizations are limited compared to other local ramen shops, but a decent stop for food court dining. Noodles are thinner cut and not quite as chewy as I prefer. Egg is not soft boiled (ajitsuke tamago) if that is a deal breaker for ramen heads. :)

Kid-friendliness: Rice bowls and small ramen sizes are good for smaller appetites.“

“We decided at 8p that we wanted pizza. I had Wayne's years ago at a friend's home. Our pizza was delicious! Crust was crispy and light at the same time. Ingredients plentiful and cheese was really flavorful. My husband is blah on pizza but was surprised at how good it was.
Delivery person very polite and thanked us for gratuity.

“The ribs exceptional, the hamburger beyond good, the hamburger is juicy and nicely charred and the fries that come with the burger nicely seasoned. The food here has always been great evetime I have visited.“

“Located in the food court of the Mitsuwa Marketplace (on the west side of the food court just to the right of the hallway to the bathrooms), this Japanese restaurant had a good selection of food, in usual Japanese tradition- had visual representations of all the meals, and the prices were good. This was my wife & I's first time eating at this place, and we enjoyed the food a lot. They accept cash which is huge in my opinion as a lot of the businesses and restaurants inside Mitsuwa do not accept cash; I tipped them as a result & told them Thank You for accepting cash. The lady who took our order was very friendly and answered our questions about the food with a huge smile on her face. Seating is located in the general food court area so you can't really say much about the food court other than it is very busy if you go around lunch time on the weekends, but you'll find plenty of seating for lunch on a week day.

Plenty of fun things to do before or after eating in Mitsuwa as well from the grocery store, book store, One Piece card game store, boba tea, and lots of other restaurants and food vendors.“
