The restaurant is pretty large and not super busy on a Sunday morning. The decor really pushes the rooster and almost farmhouse style theme throughout. Portion sizes are fairly large and prices are a bit higher than what you'll find elsewhere but still reasonable. Food here was pretty good, I didn't care much for the specialty coffee drinks but find the breakfast options to be quite solid. I like the spongy feeling of the waffle french toast which tastes fairly eggy and has a unique texture that was enjoyable. The corned beef skillet was fairly balanced in terms of protein and potatoes, with plenty of corned beef. It wasn't overly salty, though it seemed like an additional element could've helped to tie the different components of the dish together. The egg white delight omelette was quite large and airy and prepared quite well, this is a nice healthy option when served with a side of fruit. Overall, if you're in the area shopping at nearby Heinen's or Mariano's, this is a nice and convenient option. You can enjoy a meal here casually with friends and choose from a fairly varied menu.“

“I was always resistant to trying bar food but my son loves going there with his friends so, I had to give it a try and to my surprise, the food was absolutely amazing. I used to only order the sample platter, steak sandwich and chicken wings but last night I tried their steak fajitas and it was surprisingly spectacular. Their margarita didn't taste as authentic as the food made by authentic Mexicans. However the manager was kind enough to offer me an amazing old fashioned and the bartender nailed it making my experience even more special. I'm not a fan of dive bars but they make you feel very welcome definitely turning into one of my regular places to go!“

This place is definitely being loved by everyone.I ordered Chicken and Bacon Waffle and my boyfriend ordered Skillet, as always, and he said Elly's Skillet is almost the Best Number 1 Skillet he've ever had. The Waffle was sooo great and their side salad was very huge. I mean, their waffle is really different than others - it's thick, crisp and delicious... Also it actually contains bacon in the waffle dough....Yum!We also had some pancakes on the side and it was good too.Only one minor thing that they can improve is their staffing. I think they need more servers, I didn't get a refill for my coffee during my entire meal. “5 star food and service every time. Tonight we had the pleasure of being waited on by Lupe. Lupe is very passionate making sure he provides excellent customer service for his guests. He knows the menu and explained it in great detail at our table. He offered suggestions when asked and the suggestions were spot on. We started with the corn bread which was warm and the soft butter only made it better. For dinner most of our table had ribs. The ribs were cooked to perfection with the sauce ratio being spot on. You can taste the freshness of the ribs let me tell you, delicious! A few ordered the NY Strip steak with the added optional char, it was amazing. For dessert our table shared a few sundaes and the brownies a la mode. OMG, what a way to end the perfect dinner! Thank you Lupe and all the competent staff for a great dinner.
