Communication was top-notch, portions were huge, and the food was incredible. Guests couldn’t stop talking about the juicy chicken and steak, the homemade chips and salsas, and guacamole that could honestly be eaten by the spoonful. Mr. Ochoa truly takes pride in his food — you can taste the love in every bite. Highly recommend for both dining in and catering!“

“Stopped here on a whim, and I’m very glad that I did! Bit of a small indoor and outdoor seating area but cozy and authentic vibes nonetheless. More importantly, the food is top notch! The carne asada burrito was one of the best that I’ve had around in the northwest suburbs. The steak was perfectly grilled, juicy and flavorful, and the best part being there was plenty of it inside the burrito! If you’re looking for fresh, homemade, authentic Mexican food that won’t break the bank in the northwest suburbs then Taqueria El Comalito is a must try!“

“We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! We will definitely be back as every aspect of our experience was very enjoyable.“

“Finding the entrance is a bit hard. The restaurant name is only printed on the door and that too is places sideways. Nobody can notice it at first glance.

It is a cute little Mexican restaurant. Portion sizes are normal. They have burrito bowls just like Chipotle but better because they have 10 different sauces. Best burrito bowl ever !“

“Great dinner tonight. Mexican Indian Fusion. The seasoned chips were served hot and Salsas were flavorful. Portions were plentiful and the prices were family friendly. You can choose 3 different street tacos with rice and beans for $15! The staff was very attentive as we were outside dining. And the waiter left us a pitcher of water for the table. It was most appreciated. We definitely will return.“

Ryan, the GM, runs a great store and was incredibly welcoming and professional.
