“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! “I was wanting to try Korean style fried chicken. I was not disappointed. The chicken is crispy, moist and just the right amount of spice. The menu looks so good, I had difficulty deciding what to get. I will definitely come back.“

“We used to go to BJ's in Evanston until you found Gatora. You must try Gators for food as their garlic wings are to die for. Just be careful not to eat too much. 😉 Wings, pizza, and cheese curls were so good. Fries are fairly good typically while their salad has been consistently bad, but will forgive them. The staff are decent, but the host has been pretty rude.“

“Franks for the Memories has officially stolen our hearts.. again! My boyfriend and I came back for our second visit, and it was just as amazing as the first. We ordered the boneless wings and fries with cheese sauce, and everything was absolutely delicious. The wings were packed with flavor, the fries were perfectly crispy, and that cheese sauce… heavenly!

Even though the place was busy, the staff had such a great, lighthearted attitude that made the whole experience even better. They were friendly, upbeat, and on top of it all, our food came out in less than 10 minutes! You can tell they care about both the food and the people they’re serving.

We’re so happy to have this gem near our house. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again! :)“

“This place serves amazing Halal fried chicken and Chinese. We ordered the spicy chicken like quarters, combo fried rice, and beef lo mein.

The trays are big portions and the prices are very reasonable. The spicy fried chicken was amazing. Crispy and flavorful.“

“My previous review was accidentally deleted by me, but let me just say that this is by far the best bar around the Chicagoland area. Firstly, let me start by raving about Colleen, the GOAT of bartenders! She is an absolute sweetheart! From the first day she made me feel at home! If you are new, she goes up to you, introduces herself and hands you a napkin. She has the most awesome and proper etiquette for the hospitality industry. Colleen is an absolute godsend! I do not know a single person who badmouths her. She also makes the best margaritas and rums/cokes! She remembers your name as wel and starts calling you by your name on the second day. The other bartenders are amazing as well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays when I go in, Lisa remembers my drink and food order. She is also a gem as well! As far as the food goes, the chicken bacon ranch wrap is one of the best I have ever eaten. The Cheddar Cheese burger is amazing as well. Seriously this place is a great find. As far as the reviews calling this place racist are concerned, to each their own: I have never had any issues and I am disabled and asian that is like a double negative. It is the most inclusive place around town!“

I will say this though: Young gentlemen / Order taker for phone orders needs more training.

I’ve been to Wingstop many times, especially for pickup orders, and they are consistently excellent. My orders are always ready on time, packed neatly, and still hot and fresh when I get home. Accuracy and consistency like this keep me coming back.

The wings are always perfectly cooked — crispy outside, juicy inside, and full of flavor. No matter how busy they are, the quality never drops.

Manager Hitesh runs the store very professionally, and you can tell he leads a strong team. Mittal and Brijesh are also great — friendly, hardworking, and always helpful during pickup. The whole staff creates a smooth and positive experience every time.

If you’re in Streamwood and want reliable, fast pickup with great food and service, this Wingstop location is definitely the spot. Highly recommended!“

“Decided to try Chilis for my birthday dinner steak, as I’d heard their steaks were pretty good. I’d happily heard correctly. The steak was delicious. I don’t understand why they make you wait, however, for a table when there are always empty tables. We waited 15 minutes yet we counted 8 empty tables. We noticed this was happening the entire time we were there. People waiting for over 10 minutes while many empty tables were available. Our waitress, I believe Tiara? Was great! Extremely busy yet very attentive to our table. Food did not disappoint, altho the side salad was only lettuce and grated cheese, for over $4.00!! One of us ordered the secret sauce burger. It seems the sauce was soo secret they didn’t even put it on!! Their Fangtastic margarita was delish! And the bill didn’t break us! All in all it was a good birthday dinner.
