All were good with notable mentions to the chicken wings, takoyaki, fried oysters, sesame balls, and chicken buns. “Ive been to 2 other Chicago Ramen spots and this had the best service and atmosphere by far.

I tried the king of sea tsukemen. As its own thing it was just ok, not bad, not amazing.

I was really hoping for a fishy pork tsukemen (tonkatsu gyokai?) and what I got wasn't that. I wouldn't order it again and its unfortunate that this location doesn't do their normal menu because I would be back at this convenient location so often for their normal tsukemen. (Or gyokai, but I can dream)

Hopefully they'll move this menu to one of their northern locations where there are more nearby options!“

“I've ordered Lou Malnati's through the mail long distance for a couple years for my birthday without ever having been to an actual location. So my expectations were pretty high when we found out we had a trip to Chicago. We booked these reservations immediately. Honestly, the pizza was better when I could cook it in my own oven and make it a little more crispy with bubbly golden cheese and crust. It tasted a little bland like it needed salt and could've been cooked longer. Otherwise we had a great experience. I will try a different place next time we are in Chicago.“

“I haven't been to Alexander's in years and my last experience wasn't a good one. The food wasn't great and the service was terrible. This time was a complete 180° experience! The place has been renovated and looks very nice and very clean (including the very nice restroom). The food and service were, both, wonderful with nice selections on the menu. We went on a weekend, so they had a piano player who was very good. Even the prices weren't the usual "painful" experience of most restaurants. We will, definitely, return.
