“I hadn’t been here in a while but after our most recent experience I’ll be going more often. Went for our anniversary dinner. Booked reservations thru Open Table, arrived early and got seated right away in a cozy booth in the bar. There was a card and Anniversary placard waiting for us on the table. We were offered complimentary champagne to toast right away which was delicious. Our server Susan was outstanding and all the food was exceptional. We split a wine flight - loved them all! The pacing was terrific we didn’t have to wait long for anything but we never felt rushed. We went all out for the special occasion with soup, a starter, entrees, sides and desserts but would choose more affordable happy hour options to go more frequently. The menu changes four times a year (with the seasons) and all the calorie counts are kept low for the entrees which I love.“

Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

I've been going to this location since they opened their doors and every time I walk in I feel extremely welcomed and excited to see the great additions they make. The staff are some of the most kind and wonderful people I've ever met, super kind with a wonderful smile, they make every vist feel amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful, since the beginning they've been adding new details to fit the aesthetic and improving the overall quality. The food is amazing, it taste great with super fresh ingredients; it makes any tummy feel good. They are able to craft your meal however you need it be and they serve fast and hot! They have a wide variety or appetizers and main dishes that all taste great. I absolutely love this place and very thankful we have this restaurant in our community! Cannot wait till my next vist!“

“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. “After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“
