“Coach's restaurant is the restaurant in the Doubletree hotel near Midway Airport. This spot is easy for travelers seeking convenience. I had the apple pecan shrimp salad. The salad was well prepared and the shrimp was well seasoned and grilled. This spot is very clean and in order, creating an easy place to grab a salad or other lunch and work. It’s also good in the evening to grab an easy dinner and watch a game.Service was fantastic. I think my girl filled up my water 10 times.”
“I have pool league there on Tuesdays, great place! Big space and staff is super friendly. Amber the bartender is super nice and funny and Alaina is a great manager, very accommodating. Maybe she'll convince you into a $3 Mystery shot like me lol... Another plus is the food, especially the wings and burgers!! Concert/ band venue ambiance is also a great vibe in their back room on the weekends check it out!”
“Best subway ever! I’m in a walker and they are so patient. The breads always soft, the ingredients fresh. The guy with the mustache actually cares to make a great sandwich. All ingredients are placed with care.”
“Went down for breakfast and got the burrito which was surprisingly good. Wife and I got coffee which was lukewarm at best but we told them about it and they made a new pot. Server lady was very good and friendly. A little pricey but we’re next to the airport so…”
“I hadn't had there white castle burgers in a long time I enjoyed my white castle burgers and don't ever forget about your Vanilla Milk Shake. Thank You!”
“Been stopping here 2-3 times a week for several months now, and this is definitely my favorite food stop in 10 mile radius. The Mexican kitchen is part of the store, and produces delicious selection of fresh-made meat and vegetarian options. Tacos are made fresh before your eyes. pricing very reasonable. they have good tomales and impenadas as well.”
“Most of the food was good. The Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta was disgusting. It tasted like dirty dish water. Everything else was delicious. Fish and chips, bourbon glazed wings, and the classic platter were satisfying. Our waitress was busy but didn't miss a beat. Overall, it was a good experience even with a busy toddler.Kid-friendliness: They give you a crayon and coloring sheet and have a kid menu.”
“The Jimmy Johns at 7250 S. Cicero ave Chicago, the food is always fresh and made to perfection. Serina alway takes my order correctly and is always super nice! I would recommend this location because of taste, accuracy and friendliness!”
“Just another perfect dining experience. Been there a dozen times or so, and still always look forward to the next time. The service. The ambiance. The on-point wine pairing. And that scallop...”
“My wife and I drove in from MKE to visit relatives for the weekend and they started our weekend off with an afternoon lunch at Monteverde. It was an experience worth the month and a half wait for our reservation date. The food is delicious, the flavors bold but not overpowering. It seemed the restaurant gave off its own energy. Everyone seemed pleased to be there as I observed including Victor, our server. He was more an advisor than anything guiding us through great choice after great choice of sharable plates without being intrusive. We will be back.”
“Most incredible meal I've had in a long time- I will be dreaming about it for weeks! The service, food, cocktails and overall vibes were immaculate and unforgettable. Two items you MUST order: zucchini fritters and lamb saddle. WOW! Thank you Rose Mary!”
“Really great ambiance, every section of the restaurant is well-decorated and great for a special event. The noise is pretty hefty, especially during the dinner rush. Service is fantastic, really energetic and kind. The drinks were great, as were the appetizers and dessert...the one thing I didn't like was the ricotta dumplings, the pepper was totally overwhelming.”
“One of the best burgers I've ever had. Do yourself a favor - just add the egg and bacon. Don't think twice. The General Jane's chicken was also a standout.”
“BCS is an absolute gem of a beer, and i happened to come through during their March Madness bracket (genius marketing, give that guy a raise… along with Chris & Julian) My visit made what was a terrible last night into one of the best days. The finest hospitality you’ll ever receive in Chicago. Thank you!”
“The food is always on point hot and fresh. The drinks are tasty and refreshing. Service and atmosphere is always the best. People are so friendly even chef Jourdan came out to help. 10/10”
“One of the most incredible dining experiences I’ve had. When it comes to Michelin restaurants some have better service, food, creativity but Oriole was well balanced and is now one of my favorite restaurants. Done places put creativity and adventure, before taste. Oriole has plenty of creativity but the taste and flavors soared above everything else. Great service, beautiful space. Cannot wait to go back. This place should be 3 stars!”
“This place is so cute. As always I'll attach images for the best photo ops. I recommend wearing reds, pinks, blacks, creams/white, and greens for best complimentary images. I ordered the shrimp & oysters. I appreciated the chef allowing me to opt for lobster butter, as a topping, which was nice. The shrimp was a bit tough but it was grilled so I expected that with how busy it was. I added sea salt to the oysters & my gosh that took it up a notch! So good. I also had the Wagyu Tartare and it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed it and the bread was a perfect pairing. The broccolini was also delicious and perfect complement to my steak. I also grabbed fries which reminded me a show string fries but they were pretty delicious. My original bartender, Tre, was amazing! He gave recommendations ,as I waited on the girls to arrive, and the empanadas were amazing! Our server Stefanie (or Stephanie) was also amazing. We didn't have a large party (4ppl) but it was a fairly busy Sunday; she handled everything perfectly. When we had a confusion with our bill she was patient and had grace. Overall this place was great and I give 15/10. Perfect for the girls night (as this visit pertained) and any date night. I'd come back here for a solo meal and content alone! I would like to see a wagyu burger to pair with the fries as an option in the summer! I may be back just for the empanadas and a nice pre-game drink lol.”
“It was a wonderful experience at Elske, the tasting menu was delicious. From start to finish, each item was cooked to perfection and served beautifully. Big thanks to the chef, team and pastry chef for a great time and the birthday dessert for my girlfriend! This was her first tasting menu and she absolutely loved it. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!”
“I’m so glad I found this bakery. My daughter is vegan and never gets to enjoy desserts. The few vegan things we’d find were usually not great. These baked good do not taste or look vegan and are incredibly delicious. We have been here several times now for birthdays and holidays and will continue to come regularly. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny.”
“The best place to eat, a family atmosphere and very picturesque 100% recommended, my family and I come from Minnesota and we cannot pass up the opportunity to visit this place.”
“This was such a great brunch! I’d read about the brunch at Obélix, and as someone who loves French food, I had to come here with my family. The service was great and everyone was very kind, though we found it odd no one ever asked how our food was tasting. The food was tasting spectacular! We got the escargot, plain croissant, lyonnaise salad, french onion soup, poutine, crepe homard, and foie gras & pancake. Everything was incredible EXCEPT the pancake glaze that came with the foie gras & pancake. It did not compliment the dish at all and we were not a fan. Aside from that everything was wonderful, and they even brought out a scoop of chocolate sorbet for my birthday! We would definitely come back for brunch and really want to for dinner too.”
“First off, the vibes here are immaculate. The restaurant is located on the second floor of Soho House, and the ambiance is very intimate--perfect for a smaller party. The menu is pretty straightforward. There aren't a lot of options to choose from, but each item is very unique. What we ordered: Caliente en los Trópicos: pretty yummy! Supposed to be spicy, but the spice is not overbearing at all. An interesting cocktail. Ceviche: a great way to start the dinner. Very shareable; love the balance of sour and savory flavors. Tuna Tostada: my favorite! I've never had a tuna tostada before, and it's nothing like what I expected. Mussels: you cannot go wrong with the mussels. The bread goes so well with this. Considering the dishes seem so original and the quick service, I'd definitely recommend this spot to my friends.”
“I had recommended this place to my friends as they had never had birria before and this place did not disappoint! I had a smile every time I took a bite out of the tacos de birria. The staff were very friendly and nice, and the overall this place gets a 10/10 outta me. I can’t wait to come here again and try the ”
“High quality Thai food. Limited menu (no pad Thai) but that doesn't detract from the offerings. Grandma's pork belly is different from your typical pork belly dish. The pork belly is cut into bitter sized pieces and deep fried. Served with the jaew sauce is really delicious. My wife loves coming for the papaya salad and Thai fried rice. The pad siew is also really well prepared here.”
“Good okonomyaki, does both Hiroshima and Osaka styles. Not served as casually as in Japan but was good and not overpriced. We ended up getting two and that was more than enough for us both.Would do again.”
“Had a great dinner here with friends in town. This is the type of place to go if you’re craving seafood and varied Italian dishes. Service was great, they change your cutlery between meals, staff were very kind and helpful with recommendations. Well decorated inside, makes you feel like you’re eating outdoors with a bistro vibe.Favorite dish of the night has to have been the shrimp ceviche and avocado gem salad. Refreshing! Calamari was nicely spiced, different from the usual. If you want bread service it’s $3.50 but it was very good with a yummy olive tapenade.Bottled water or sparkling only, additional $4 per large bottle. But they don’t say this up front it’s just written on the menu.Other dishes ordered were Frutti de Mare, Risotto Lobster, tuna Carpaccio. They just opened so they’re still working on quality but one piece of feedback would be that the seafood was overcooked/drier than usual. Otherwise, well done!”
“There was a line out when we got there, around 12:30pm on a Saturday. The place is small and busy but it feels organized. Line moved fairly quickly. My friend got the mushroom adobo and I got the combo Filipino breakfast and it was delicious. We also shared some pastries and the truffle croissant was surprisingly tasty and different. Loved it! ? We’ll definitely be back to try the dinner menu.”
“Cacio E Pepe is awesome. Try the cheese wheel. All dishes were great and good wine selection. Great service, too. A true Italian experience. Crabcakes are a must ”
“Elina’s is a cozy restaurant known for its delicious Italian cuisine. All the pastas are really good, and the ribs are a must-try. The starter bread sets the tone for a delightful meal, and the chicken parm is a standout dish that keeps guests coming back for more. I also appreciate that they play hip ”
“IMPECCABLE! First, the store is CLEAN and top tier. Manager and employees are hospitable. Drinks are delicious! Wow! They all deserve raises and appreciation for the wonderful service they provide. Amazing! Highly Recommend!”
