“First time here and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Traveled about 25 minutes to check this place out and it went very well. Customer service was on point. The menu has alot of delicious options. They also have good mixed drinks. Reasonably priced. Wait time was not long at all. They have a bar you can sit at and eat. They had music. Not too loud just good enough to hear. The vibe was decent. They have tables and booths. They also have slots. And an ATM machine. Bathroom was clean. Just wish they had more than 2 stalls because sometimes there's a waitBut overall I would highly recommend this place.“
“Absolutely delicious food!!! Great atmosphere. Excellent service. I am a tough food and service critic having worked tourism for 17 years. Seems so quaint and small on the outside, yet you walk in and wow! I came in for a burrito to go and ended up staying for hours. Excellent service, food, and company from the bar tender. I am now a fan and will always return.“
“As a busy northwest indiana real estate agent in the go, Rubens is our local go-to Mexican food restaurant. Food quality is high and consistent. Prices are fair and food portions are good. Our favorite is getting the nachos supreme - we get 3 orders for our family of 4 and there’s always a good amount of leftovers left. ?Parking: Lots of available parking located steps from the front door“
“I meet a friend once a month for lunch and he recommended trying the Santa Fe restaurant. After our arrival I found the decorations in the restaurant were excellent in that it reminded me of restaurants I had eaten in while vacationing in Mexico. The menu as expected was extensive and making a choice was difficult. I ordered the Chiles Rellenos that were very good. Our meals were excellent and we decided to return some time in the future. The wait staff provided us with very good service with attention to any additional needs we may have had. I have added this location to my personal list of good restaurants. I recommend you try The Santa Fe restaurant and decide for yourself.“
“This place, what can I say that would give it justice? I am a truck driver along with my wife and daughter in the truck with me. We are parked over night and wanted something other than junk food. Gracie's was suggested by one of the workers at the Petro/TA and I told my wife about it. She being from Chihuahua Mexico and was Leary about Northern Mexican restaurants. We went, we are, we lived this place. When we walked in, we were treated with warmth by the ambiance of the place. Small, joyful and filled with love. The seating was close and personal, but very comfortable. I ordered the Taco el pastor with rice and beans. My wife ordered the Chile rellenos with rice and beans, my daughter ordered the Cecina which was seasoned flank steak with sides of beans and rice. I left full and satisfied, my wife ate her entire Chili and was reminded of her home. My daughter couldn't get enough and was trying to continue to eat, even after we boxed it up to leave. The only thing I would say bad about this place is, the stationary chairs aren't made for bigger people, but still I give this place a 5 star review. Thank you for the great food and the ever lasting memories.“
“First time visiting place. Visitor from Indiana looking for a place with good nachos. Well, I'll have to say I found it. The serving of nachos with meat was great. Piled high. No skimping on anything.Very short wait. Clean and friendly place.“
“Great little place, some seating. Authentic Mexican food to grab and go. Whether you choose pastor, chicken or steak you can't go wrong!. Was recommended to try it and glad I did. Definitely will be trying more from the menu and back again soon.“
“I have a lot of food allergies, so I am always cautious with food prep. However, the people at Habaneros are always kind and remove certain ingredients that I can't have. Not only are they accommodating, the food is authentic and absolutely delicious.“
