“Love Bittersweet. They have a wonderful cake and pastry selection, offer delicious and filling sandwiches for lunch or dinner AND crazy good cookies! They can create whatever it is that your sweet tooth desires or whatever the special occasion called for. There is ample space, tables and chairs if you'd like to eat in instead of carrying out your order. Service is always first rate!“

“The food was excellent, as always. The service was perfect. It was our anniversary and we were given a free dessert sample, which was very nice. We had raw oysters, the sea bass, lobster/crab cake and the filet mignon Oscar. Everything was perfectly cooked and the sauces were wonderful.“

“Foodwise, is truly a wonderful story, somebody in the kitchen knows what to do and that translates all the way to our braines stirring waves of good sensations.Their turkish culture habits, the hours limitation for certain types of food, do not always overlap with other's schedule or expectations. The staff is very polite and forthcoming but that's so much they can do.The atmosphere is a bit bizzare, the music for example, is not in tune with the specific, the way that the tables are set, suggests rather a train fare than a regular restaurant.Their sweets shop however, is there to take away all possible clouds and make your day.Parking: Plenty of parking“

“Food is delicious, but on the more expensive side for breakfast. Service once seated and fast and great! However, they will not seat out if you do not have your entire party ready. And EVERYONE will ask over and over if everyone is there and demand it. If they are not counting the amount you had on your reservation, they will rebute it against you. The asking and verifying the party can be done in a more respectable manner.I understand that they want to turn the tables as quick as possible, but the customer service can be applied to make it less aggressive.“

“Our party of three arrived at 4:30 pm on a Thursday, after attending a wake nearby. We were seated promptly near a floor length window that opened up to the outside. We ordered cocktails and a wonderful cheese and meat plate with crackers, fruit and jam for $22, a bargain that easily fed three people. We were also served complimentary french bread with salted butter, a nice bistro touch. We then ordered three entrees and a wonderful bottle of a Cruze-Hermitage red wine for $75, another fairly priced item. The entrees were all below $30 and each of us brought home enough for another meal. We then split the bread pudding which was also large enough to bring some home. We spent a little over 2 hours. We were never rushed and the service was well paced. During our meal, live music was played which was a ice background noise but not too loud where it interfered with our conversation. It was a wonderful meal and I high recommend this restaurant.“

“Our server (Juan) made our night very special. It is always a pleasure to have a seasoned veteran in the restaurant business who understands how to go above and beyond the average dining experience. It is the little things that a server can do that make a restaurant quite memorable. Thank you, Juan.“

“This review is for 2 very awesome and very wonderful people at PF Chang's in Schaumburg. The first is the host, Eric. This young man is so helpful and kind. When you see Eric, the first thing you'll think is: this guy should be modeling for Dolce and Gabbana! I mean, I'd venture to guess that his last name must be Dior. He's the real deal, balancing professional hospitality with positive vibes. PF Chang's got it right: Eric is the guy you want greeting your customers when they first walk in.The other hero during our visit was our wonderful server, Caitlan. This young lady has got all the basics down (i.e. friendly, efficient, frequent check-ins, etc). But what makes Caitlan so special is this: she has the gift of connecting with her customers. At some restaurants, you'll get a server that isn't very genuine, and customers can see thru that. Not Caitlan. My son, who is 3 years old, couldn't wait for Caitlan to come back so that he could chat with her about his green dump truck. Caitlan is enthusiastic, authentic, genuine...the list goes on and on. It was so refreshing to hear some of her background and ambitions outside of work. She is such a sweet young lady with a bright future ahead of her.Kudos to PF Chang's. They've got 2 very special employees in Eric and Caitlan. We can't wait to go back and catch up with both of them.“

“Came in on Thursday lunch and sat at the bar. Stephanie the lovely bartender, was friendly , polite , attentive , and gorgeous. She had a great personality and attitude. I ordered a bacon , mushroom, and Swiss burger (off menu) and she was more than happy to accommodate me. Turkey chili was fabulous and so was my Bloody Mary. Stephanie was a true professional! Will be coming back to see her in the near future!“

“We came here to warm up and get a midday snack since we were in the area. We came an hour before closing and there were still plenty of baked goods available. There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. I wish we came for lunch since there were intriguing menu items but we will be back if we are in the area!“

“Always a great experience here. It can get crowded on the weekends but I never have waited a long time to sit or for service. The food is very good! They have a lot of different options including fun shakes! My favorite is the southwest omelet! I loved it as a skillet and tried is as an omelet and fell in love! They have lots of fun pancake options as well. Good meal options with lots to offer making it not that expensive!“

“Very nice establishment - quite large. Beautiful outdoor space. Plentiful beers on tap. We had the eggplant salad and it was huge and beautifully presented as 3 towers. We also had the falafel wrap and it was fabulous- very fresh and stuffed well. Had the side of root vegetables, which were tasty. Definitely will go back, especially as the weather gets warmer.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and had enough left over for another. Service and food were great. Atmosphere is average. I debated about my dessert but opted for the berry cake which also was delicious. I had breaded pork tenderloin, sweet/sour sauerkraut and potato dumplings, soup plus the berry cake dessert. (Soup was not pictured since I already had eaten it). All was DELICIOUS I'm not a bread person except for fresh bread. The rye bread was so good that I hard time to stop eating it.“

“I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! Both the hostess and server were happy to share recommendations of their favorite dishes. We had the black pepper shrimp appetizer and the pizza bread for the tasty sauce!! We enjoyed our salads and entrees. We were too full for dessert! As we left, I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was- even after serving such a large crowd. Nice place. Good culture. “While visiting with some friends. It was recommended to me to try Wildfire. This restaurant definitely had a cozy feel and laid back atmosphere. We started off with jumbo shrimp and crab cakes. The crab cakes were phenomenal. The crab cakes were probably the best I have had. Then the table ordered the grilled chicken club Sandwich. The Smoked Salmon and then the NY Steak Sandwich with fries. Also we got roasted vegetables which was amazing. The overall experience was okay, the service was a little slow. But the restaurant was packed. Overall I would give my experience and food a 7.7. Service could have been better. But the restaurant was nice, but overall the people made the experience better. If you are ever in the area, definitely give wildfire a try!“

“Not gonna lie, I ended up here because my husband and I needed a quick snack, and I tried to go to Choo Choo down the street, but they were packed. When I walked in, there was a long line, and that seemed promising, plus it was moving quickly. We wanted something savory, so we ordered a ham and cheese croissant, a goat cheese and pesto croissant, and a spinach quiche. They warmed up the pastries and brought them out to our table pretty quickly. I was surprised the pastries were so good. The croissants were so flakey and delightful. The spinach quiche had a lovely crust. I completely forgot to take pictures because I was in a rush and starving, but I also saw a security sign that said no camera allowed. I wish they had more savory pastry options with meat, but the ham and cheese croissant was all they had when I visited. I did see that they had sandwiches that could be ordered, so I might try that if I am ever in the area again.“

“we had tofu pad thai and tofu green curry noodles and they were both amazing. i love thai food and have been to at least 10 diff thai places in different states too, but this is hands down in my top three favorites. the tofu in my pad thai was cooked to perfection, crispy but not too much and the portions were great. we loved the thai tea from here too, their style was more creamy than i’ve had at other places (or how i make it myself) but it was tasty and makes me want to make it like that at home :) great service too everyone was nice and it was great thank you“

“This is my favorite place for frozen yogurt. Over the past 10 years I've visited many locations, all of which started to decline and inevitably close (Glenview, Park Ridge, Deerfield, Mount Prospect). Schaumburg has been the most consistent location over the years. Algonquin was always pretty good too but my last visit the froyo was watery. I know there are Bloomingdale and Downers Grove locations but I haven't been to those. The location is very clean and although there are typically kids running the locations, the store is always well kept and the toppings station is always full and clean. The froyo is always great, and they always have good flavors. Their machines are typically full. And like I've mentioned always consistent. I've been turned off by other froyo shops where the froyo is priced by the ounce and the froyo comes out of the machine like frozen or watery slush and just a small amount weighs a ton, so you're paying more for less, not to mention not enjoyable froyo. The Schaumburg location the consistency of the yogurt is always spot on. It's never watery, too icy/slushy or bland. I truly believe this location takes pride in their shop. I hope they stay in business forever!“

“So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“

“This place has special fish Fry during lent. This is a cute irsh brunch spot normally. They had a lot of st paddy's day themed things but I passed. The good. Coffee with actual cream not the pre package junk. Great coffee service as well though it would be nice to add this to the waiting area. The staff was great aaa all the way. The omelets was good, fairly fluffy and a good balance of fillings. The average The pancakes were good not great. I may try some specialty cakes next time. The bad Well good place equals wait time on the weekend. Not sure if that was real maple syrup, if it was it was not the best. The side of potatoes while generous, had little to no flavor. Had to salt and pepper the heck out of them, and just left them in the end.“

“Loved revisiting after 6 years away. The atmosphere was hectic and a bit loud on a busy Friday night, but as it got later into the evening, most of the big family/friend groups left, and we had a delicious intimate meal. The waiter was attentive and realized we wanted a slow, relaxing meal and followed our lead. Scallop appetizer, soups, and steaks were amazing. Did not care for the potatoes au gratin, which is a dish I usually love and was looking forward to. It had no flavor and almost tasted plastic. Our waiter brought me the mac and cheese, which had more flavor, and I happily finished. We have already decided to go back again in the fall and not let another 6 years go by until we visit again.“

“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“

“Good food and service with 1 flaw. I ordered salmon and told the server only a few green beans and more rice. She brought the opposite. I asked for more rice and got it, but they charged me for it. She said the kitchen was inflexible even though they messed up the order. This is not right.“

“I ordered through Uber eats and let me tell you, SO GOOD. I ordered a breakfast burrito but added special instructions for everything to be on the side because I wanted to assemble my own burrito. I ordered it this way because they only had one type of breakfast burrito on their menu so I ordered other things on the side that I also wanted to add to the burrito. They followed my instructions to the T and they give good portions! I would definitely order again or even dine in if I was in the area! 10/10 would recommend!“

“From the service to the food, top tier! Not only is the surrounding area cute, but the inside of the restaurant is too! Sunday morning, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated immediately. Our server was attentive and sweet. The food was wonderful and packed with flavor. It came freshly made and quick. The server checked in at the appropriate intervals and even brought napkins half way through without us asking. We enjoyed ourselves and our food. The service was excellent, they came around with more meat even after we threw in the towel. It was so good we had to finish it! The salad bar was small but the things that were in it were excellent! The sides of potatoes were perfect and the fried bananas were a perfect compliment to the saltiness of the meats. “Delighted to discover that the Gingko Restaurant is open in the evening for Illumination (holiday lights) events. After experiencing the light displays, we stopped for a meal.So many vegan and vegetarian choices on the menu. Other museums and venues could take a lesson from this! We ordered and enjoyed the Korean Stirfry. It was a little salty for me, but ample portions and reasonable prices. Served piping hot. Hot cider was delicious.Lots of seating in the clean dining area, including seats by the expansive windows overlooking the lights for the Illumination finale. That was a treat and a fun way to wrap up the evening. Our only issues were customer service focused. We had to ask for napkins and were given just two for meals that have a fair amount of juice. Also, we paid for my husband to have roasted vegetables added to his entree, but it looked just like mine in portion size. When I asked the server, he said he didn't know. No offer to check or to make it right. We were tired, so didn't press the point. But they will lose customers if this is a pattern.Note: As with most museums and cultural centers, the food venues are run by a different company, not by the Arboretum.Vegetarian options: Multiple choices for vegetarians and vegans, including hot sandwiches and entrees.“
