“Today was my first time trying Smoothie King. I picked the Peanut Power Plus. When I substituted the nonfat milk (powder) for almond milk, I expressed my concern about my smoothie being thin/liquidity. The person who I worked with, I’m assuming the manager, assured me that it would still be thick or they’d be willing to remake it. He even added extra peanut butter. My smoothie was tasty. And although I only got the 20 oz, it was so filling, I could barely eat. 😂 That’s a good thing. Thanks for my smoothie but especially the excellent customer service.“

“I go to this location quiet often, but I was extremely disappointed as well as angry with what I saw today at this location. (3/9/25 at 5:35pm) The 3 customers that were ahead of me placed their orders were first timers I found out. The young lady that was fixing their smoothies dropped a cup on the floor, picked the cup up from the floor then sat the cup to the side. As she finished one smoothie she pulled a fresh cup, then the 2nd smoothie she proceeded to pour it in the cup that she picked up off the floor. I told the young lady that took my order, so she then pulled the young to the side to tell her that I saw what she did then she looks at me and says "I'm Sorry" (I said to her): What do mean you are sorry, why would you do that, and why are you giving that to her, you need to remake that smoothie ...and guess what she did not. I'm just want to make people aware: Watch the people that prepare your sandwiches/smoothies or anything of that sort. It's not their stuff, they're not paying for it so they don't care. That was just the epitome of nasty and extremely unsanitary. She didn't have on a Tropical Cafe shirt, she had on a gray shirt, she may have been new, I'm not sure but we need to learn to do better when working with the public. Don't do things to people that you don't want done to you!!!!! FYI...the name on the ticket was: Shelia G“

“Fresh and flavorful! I’m thankful to have this new spot across the street with delicious gluten free goodies. I got the kissable smoothie, pork empanada, and chicken empanada.
Pork was a little sweet with a mild heat. Chicken was cheesy and a good amount of peppers. Both had a fluffy outside that filled me up. The papaya in the smoothie was so good. I’ll definitely be back!

“I pick up garbage in the area, I saw Teresa on the corner waving flyers in the air as I passed by so I decided to turn my truck around and give it a try. I’m so glad I did! I come here at least twice a week, and I have come with my wife and daughters on the weekend. Teresa is so sweet and full of energy I love her. The spinach banana smoothie is amazing, the michelada refresher is so refreshing and tastes great! Also had a couple bites of my daughter’s Nutella crepe… so good! Her name was Sarah B, bowls are absolutely delicious, beautifully made, good amount of extra Nutella, the açaí is a nice frozen smoothly flavor, the smoothie I had was fresh and filled with the right quantity and nicely blended. “Ummmm….these are the best churros I’ve eaten in my whole life thus far. I have them to about 8 other adults and 10 children and EVERYONE mentioned “Oh! These are really good!” Service was quick and for me got the order correct. They got it down on how a churro is suppose to taste and the texture crispy outside soft inside but not gooey like it wasn’t cooked all the way. They are utmost fantastic hot but they are just as enjoyable cool/cold. There are not many at all that can past that test. I got plain churros cause I’m not a fan of them having stuff inside BUT based on how the plain one taste I am tempted to try all the flavors!! “Having recently moved near the area, I finally decided to check this place out. I absolutely love trying new boba shops, and I am thrilled that this one is so close by. Great atmosphere with cute decorations and plenty of seating. There was only one worker behind the counter at the time who greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was so sweet and made my drink very quickly.

As for the boba itself… it’s great! I got a brown sugar boba milk tea which I was glad to know was non-dairy (despite my love for all things dairy, I am lactose-intolerant. Booooo). The milk tea itself was great. For a brown sugar drink, it wasn’t too sweet at all, which I liked as I usually get my drinks with less sweetness. However, the tapioca was a little hard, a result of it either sitting out for too long or being chilled. I’m sure it would’ve been a thousand percent better with the tapioca’s real chewy texture, but I suppose I can’t complain since I walked in on a slow Wednesday afternoon.

Great shop overall, and I surely will be a regular!
