We had Vegetable Fried Spring Rolls, Hawaiian Fried Rice, Huli Huli Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, and Vegetable Fried Rice. Everything was so delicious that there wasn’t a single bite left, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Ordering was simple, and delivery was quick and convenient. Anyone who knows me knows that I love Smoothie King! If I see one, chances are I’m stopping. After all, I’m from New Orleans, where Smoothie King got its start, and I’ve been enjoying their smoothies for more than 30 years.

That’s why I can confidently say this is one of my favorite Smoothie King locations outside of New Orleans. The team greeted me with a smile, and several employees even knew my name when I walked in. That level of customer service makes all the difference.

“My wife and I were walking around Oak Park when we came across this place. We stopped at Starbucks and then we ran into pure green and decided to stop in. The way we were greeted by the owner was enough to make us want to throw out the Starbucks. Very respectful and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend the Mixed Berry Acai bowl and tropical breeze smoothie! The owner offered us the “wake me up” shot and blue-biotic shot. They’re definitely worth it. We will definitely come back for more!“

“I stopped by earlier because I saw a picture of Dr. Sebi on the window and it caught my attention because Dr. Sebi really inspired me to loose weight and eat alkaline things instead of all that junk food i use to eat and the moment i came in this place i felt a great vibe and it smell great i had a mushroom coffee and some alkiline water and it was delicious i will continue to go back and try other things they have a lot of alkaline things that are good for the body and the owner and the rest of the crew in there are so friendly.“

“I go to this location quiet often, but I was extremely disappointed as well as angry with what I saw today at this location. (3/9/25 at 5:35pm) The 3 customers that were ahead of me placed their orders were first timers I found out. The young lady that was fixing their smoothies dropped a cup on the floor, picked the cup up from the floor then sat the cup to the side. As she finished one smoothie she pulled a fresh cup, then the 2nd smoothie she proceeded to pour it in the cup that she picked up off the floor. I told the young lady that took my order, so she then pulled the young to the side to tell her that I saw what she did then she looks at me and says "I'm Sorry" (I said to her): What do mean you are sorry, why would you do that, and why are you giving that to her, you need to remake that smoothie ...and guess what she did not. I'm just want to make people aware: Watch the people that prepare your sandwiches/smoothies or anything of that sort. It's not their stuff, they're not paying for it so they don't care. That was just the epitome of nasty and extremely unsanitary. She didn't have on a Tropical Cafe shirt, she had on a gray shirt, she may have been new, I'm not sure but we need to learn to do better when working with the public. Don't do things to people that you don't want done to you!!!!! FYI...the name on the ticket was: Shelia G“

“I have only ever had a smoothie, and it’s genuinely the best one I’ve ever had. My only complaint is the smell. It smells like a dirty mop and mildew everytime, which makes it really hard to stay in there. I’ve been to multiple smoothie places, and this is the only one that smells like that.“

“I work at a company near by and we sometimes place big orders from this location for friday lunches. It is always so good and even though its big orders, everything is always correct and nothing is ever missing! Recently I accidently made order for pick up when i meant to do delivery but I called the location and they said no problem and made the delivery themselves. The food and smoothies are always so good and fresh!!!“

She informed me and asked me if I would like certain things on my funnel cake before putting anything else outside what it's served with. The Funnel Cake was fresh along with the fruit. “La Michoacana Fresa is the real deal for a sweet treat. I grabbed a couple of their Fresas con Crema paletas—strawberry chunks swirled in creamy goodness. Also tried the Arroz con Leche popsicle; it was like dessert in a bite. The place is clean, the staff is chill, and the flavors hit every time. Spent about $15, and it was worth every penny. Definitely coming back for more.“

“Wow this place is gorgeous, I first walked in and thought I was transported to a different place, but I do have some bad things to say other than the good food, me and my friend had there crepes and they were delicious but not worth the 14 dollars for the pizza slice portion they gave us. The complaint I have was that the used all of the budget on the dining room but couldn’t afford to spruce up the restrooms. The floor in the bathrooms was cracking, the toilet was leaking, the door had to be slammed closed because it wasn’t on the hinges properly. The employee outside of the bathroom was also smoking indoors. Food was delish though!“

“This place is great for after the gym. We would always come after track practice on Saturday and get Jamba and load around the whole day. This smoothie would be a great refresher on a hot day. It was nice to get either fruit or the protein chocolate moo to help you recover after a hot day of practice. The smoothies are kinda expensive, but I guess fruit is just expensive.“

I will definitely be back for seconds and of course to check out their other items on the menu. “This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!
