“Nice little neighborhood place. The hours are odd so you have to check if they are open. I think they close mon-wed. I found this place looking for queso birria tacos. For $15 you get 4 decent sized tacos with the consommé. Great meaty tacos, I'm a big guy and I usually could knock out 8-10 tacos. I could only eat 6 here. The guacamole was big enough for me and my buddy. They have a juice bar inside and we ordered off of the server's recommendation. She recommended a pineapple drink and it was solid. We ended up getting a second order of drinks for the road. They don't have parking but you should be able to find something across the street. Place is clean and the cook wore gloves. I appreciate when a place is clean and people are wearing gloves. The waitress/server was very helpful and had great recommendations. She was easy to talk to since I don't speak Spanish. There was a bunch of online orders and takeout which in my opinion is good. That means there's no old food, they sell it all and buy fresh. Bathrooms were clean. I noticed the table next to me ordered a latte and seen they had an espresso machine. I haven't tried the coffee so I can't talk about the quality. Just that they have an espresso machine. I like this place a lot. Very friendly staff, great food and great amount of food for the price. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.“

“Today we tried fattoush burgers for the first time and it is now going to be our new go to for burgers! We had the fattoush burger, mushroom Swiss burger and for sides we had fries and mozzarella sticks. All of the food was great but I have to say that is one of the best burgers we have ever had. “So here me out real quick - I took a 45 min drive from downtown on a Tuesday at 10PM JUST to come back for another round of the CERELAC milkshake. The cafe itself is cozy and decorated beautifully. Service was fantastic, but can be slightly slow during busy times as this place seems very popular amongst locals. The menu is SO INTERESTING, but a tad overpriced. There are so many options to choose from, and each drink is it's own craft and the desserts are an artistic masterpiece. It took me about 10 minutes just to go over the menu. Eventually, I decided to go for a childhood favorite; the Cerelac milkshake. If you're not familiar with Cerelac, it is literally baby food (very popular in the MENA area). Yes, BABY FOOD! But it is so good that even adults enjoy it from time to time. The milkshake was delicious and brought back so many childhood memories. I highly recommend you give it a try! “I've been here two times so far the staff are so friendly and helpful. I decided to check this place out because a parent of one of my students got me some of their toasts a couple of times. I like the Abba Cado toast the best. The second one I tried was my fat greek toast that came in second. I decided to get coffee during my break time. Which I needed that day. I tried their espresso macchiato, which gave me an extra boost that day, and another day, I got a latte for flavor. I think if I have time, I want to try another latte or one of the spring drinks. The iced Chaga with beet foam sounds interesting.“

“This is a perfect addition to DG! I’ve tried so many acai places in the city but the bowl I had from here today was honestly the best one by a long shot. I ordered the large size because usually I feel like you get skimped on acai bowls but this wasn’t the case at all, it was actually huge and worth the price. The only small issue I had was that the acai bowl was so packed with toppings (which is great), that when I took the lid off the container I had to transfer it to a bigger bowl or it would’ve made a huge mess. Other places I’ve been to have used containers with a wider rim at the top so the toppings don’t spill out and it’s easier to mix. But the acai itself was amazing, I’ll definitely be back to try more off the menu“

“We were six and we dine together once a month, alternating between Chicago and Oak Brook. Today it was Beatrix in Oak Brook and I was pleasantly surprised. Walking in, the restaurant was extremely busy with lots of people celebrating Wednesday lunch. We were seated immediately and our attentive server came by to see what we wanted. The appetizer list was small so we ordered our main courses, which all found enjoyable. I had the Poke bowl and asked for chop sticks but there were none available. I also asked for some chips for my tuna poke and the waiter delivered a large bowl of chips costing $4.95. I did not want all those chips so I had an issue when I got my check. I also brought wine and was told over the phone that the corkage fee would be $15 but I was charged $25 for the corkage. I pointed out the two problems to our server, he said no worries, and promptly removed both questioned charges. All in all, we had a very nice meal and first time experience at Beatrix. We will return in the future,“

“I love how they play music in the backgrounds, so I do hope there will be mexican music. Plus, I know that they're not waiter to deliver the food, but I like how they make the crepas in the skillet, so I can eat it. I hope they have some good air conditioning in the future because it has been getting hot in the summer for a few days. I also saw that on the television screen that they show a lot of Nutella foods that make me and all you hungry to eat.
