He said if you don’t like it, no problem I will make you whatever you like. He made a recommendation for Ramen and sushi and everything was top quality, amazing flavor, and our new favorite! “This was a pretty decent spot for ramen considering there are not a whole lot in the Lisle area. There is shared parking. They have a decent amount of seating, I don’t think they get super busy. They also have a special Chinese menu so I guess this is a good Chinese and Japanese place. I’ll have to return to try their Chinese dishes. We ordered gyoza, kaarage shoyu ramen, and tonkotsu ramen. The broths were well seasoned. The kaarage chicken was very juicy in the middle and crispy on the outside. The chashu was very tender and little chew. Gyozas were tasty. They had a nice crunch to them. Service was okay, not much of a service. Prices were good.“

“Each table seats 4. We dined in. They have take out as well. We were greeted right away by a friendly wait staff who helped us with some recommendations along with taking our order. everything we ordered was great I had the black garlic pork on the first page of the menu, one of the children had plain ramen with chicken broth and the other had a chicken ramen bowl. We all tried each others and we all agreed our own bowl was the best but they all were good. You can either make your own, à la carte and choose your ingredients or you can choose from pre-made with pictures which we did because it was our first time. we didn't have room for appetizers, but we will definitely be back to try them because they all look amazing. Everything was delicious and we had a fun time with lots of leftovers which they package up very cute and neat, they put the ramen noodles in a bowl and your broth separate so your noodles don't suck it all up by the time you eat it again.. saved it as a new favorite spot!! The kids were ecstatic and had an amazing time which is very hard to do with most restaurants. fun food for kids and great eats for adults. 10 out of 10 from the kids!“

What really made the night, though, was our waitress. She was kind, fun, and genuinely made us feel welcome without being over the top. Service was quick, drinks stayed filled, and she had the perfect vibe for a relaxed dinner.

“I have eaten at Tanaka Sushi once or twice a month since 2021, and they consistently serve the best Japanese and Korean food in the Naperville/Lisle area. I am a sushi snob, and their sushi is always fresh and well-prepared. Their cooked dishes are always served piping hot and delicious, well-plated, and the portion sizes are great for the price. The employees clearly have a tight-knit work environment, and they are all always polite. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. You will never regret a Tanaka Sushi lunch.“

“I was blown away at how great this place is. Everything they served came feeling very fresh and excellent in quality, there was nothing negative that could be said about the food if I tried. They even brought out the sushi out on a fancy boat plate. All in all I highly recommend this place and plan on coming back whenever I'm craving good sushi or the other things on the menu.“

“Absolutely blown away by Ichiddo Ramen in Naperville! Their ramen is fantastic—rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings that hit the spot every time. But the real game-changers are their appetizers—absolutely freaking awesome! I highly recommend the short rib and crab jalapeño appetizers; they're insanely delicious, packed with flavor, and totally addictive. The service is always fast, friendly, and attentive, making each visit an absolute pleasure. Ichiddo Ramen has quickly become my go-to spot—5 stars without hesitation!“
