“Google needs to permit half and quarter star ratings for restaurants like Mancino's. This restaurant is a 4.75 out of 5. There is no other restaurant in Northern Illinois that does a grinder better. The bread is wonderful, and the heating/toasting process gives the rest of the ingredients a great flavor. I order the Roast Beef Combo, no lettuce. There are many other options, but I haven't been able to get to them for more than 30 years. I'm sure they are good too.

The service is average. That isn't meant as a criticism or complaint. It is what one expects when going to a faster food place.

“Applebee's Bar and grill has the best cheese sticks in our area My opinion of course. Every dish I've tried has been delicious some of my favorites are the tomato basil soup they put Parmesan and croutons in it. I also like their quesadilla burger. They have a chicken oriental salad it's very good. The chicken fiesta lime platter is delicious. They've got a new quesadilla burger with chips and Pico and cheese all over it that is absolutely amazing a must try it's on the 2 for $25 menu as well so it comes with an appetizer. They also have a full bar for cocktails and beer the cocktails are quite large like a fishbowl lol. The staff is very friendly and nice I especially like the girl Carrie that waits on me occasionally she makes it a fun dining experience. Happy dining don't forget about the mozzarella sticks with the marinara“

“The biscuits and gravy supreme breakfast was the best plate I’ve ever had at an establishment hands down. Their Mountain Dew fountain soda tastes super fresh & you can tell they keep the lines clean. Michelle took great care of us and was very personable and helpful. “I patron this establishment often for parties, and to order the Oyster Rockefeller, along with drinks. I can’t really say what my favorite drinks are, possibly the Rum Punch. The prices are reasonably affordable, and the portions are fulfilling. Staff is friendly, and gives detailed descriptions of the menu. The shrimp is also delectable.“

“Stopped in for the buy one get one ham bone deal they have. They staff that was working was so sweet and kind and the quality of the ham bones was really good! “The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
