“Applebee's Bar and grill has the best cheese sticks in our area My opinion of course. Every dish I've tried has been delicious some of my favorites are the tomato basil soup they put Parmesan and croutons in it. I also like their quesadilla burger. They have a chicken oriental salad it's very good. The chicken fiesta lime platter is delicious. They've got a new quesadilla burger with chips and Pico and cheese all over it that is absolutely amazing a must try it's on the 2 for $25 menu as well so it comes with an appetizer. They also have a full bar for cocktails and beer the cocktails are quite large like a fishbowl lol. The staff is very friendly and nice I especially like the girl Carrie that waits on me occasionally she makes it a fun dining experience. Happy dining don't forget about the mozzarella sticks with the marinara“

Our waitress was amazing—so friendly, respectful, and attentive. She made my daughter laugh the whole time, which meant a lot to me. What really stood out was how she spoke directly to my daughter and asked her what she wanted to order, instead of asking me for her. So while I'll be back because of Ava it can't afford to come too often.“

“Small mom and pop owned and the owners are great. They remember our drink preferences. We prefer this place over some big fancy restaurant because to us it’s about the food. The chips and salsa are the BEST in Kankakee county! The food always has tons of flavor and extremely reasonable prices. We hope that never changes.“
