“We had a great experience at Burgers and Beer! Classic American comfort food— I had the nachos, and my daughter had the chicken nuggets and fries. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Our waitress was amazing—so friendly, respectful, and attentive. She made my daughter laugh the whole time, which meant a lot to me. What really stood out was how she spoke directly to my daughter and asked her what she wanted to order, instead of asking me for her. That may seem small, but it’s a big deal to us—one of the life skills we’re working on is ordering for herself, and this made for such a positive, empowering moment. Highly recommend!“

“Awesome Veteran-owned brewery! Great beer, live music, and a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Dog friendly, kid friendly, food trucks and live music on weekends. Plenty of events and things to do. Lots of room in the place. I highly recommend Steam Hollow brewery to everyone.“

“We were camping nearby, so decided to stop in and try their local brews. The bartender, Joel, picked our flight, and they were all unique and good. Potstickers for an appetizer were delicious, and our entrees of Jambalaya and Creole Tilapia were incredible-there was so much left over, we enjoyed it the next day, too! Service was friendly and exceptional. I noticed that the whole staff pitched in to deliver food while it was hot and pre-buss tables. You don't see that much in our area, at least. The only improvement I could suggest would be some noise-cancelling foam additions in the bar area.“

“Small mom and pop owned and the owners are great. They remember our drink preferences. We prefer this place over some big fancy restaurant because to us it’s about the food. The chips and salsa are the BEST in Kankakee county! The food always has tons of flavor and extremely reasonable prices. We hope that never changes.“

Every dish I've tried has been delicious some of my favorites are the tomato basil soup they put Parmesan and croutons in it. I also like their quesadilla burger. They have a chicken oriental salad it's very good. The chicken fiesta lime platter is delicious. They've got a new quesadilla burger with chips and Pico and cheese all over it that is absolutely amazing a must try it's on the 2 for $25 menu as well so it comes with an appetizer. They also have a full bar for cocktails and beer the cocktails are quite large like a fishbowl lol. The staff is very friendly and nice I especially like the girl Carrie that waits on me occasionally she makes it a fun dining experience.
