“We had a funeral luncheon today, perfect location for the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery- the set up/family style food they have specifically for this type of event is great- private area, pleanty of food, good food. But what made me come on to leave a review was the great waitress we had. She went above and beyond, finding out my daughter couldn't eat much because her wisdom teeth had been pulled last week, and got her pleanty of mashed potatoes, and she was able to take some to go too. I know it doesn't sound like much, but when your 13, you haven't been able to eat much for the past week, have to go to all day funeral services, and then a lunch where your not sure what you will be able to eat, her kindness was very much appreciated! Thank you!“

“Super quick, great quality which was unexpected and whenever ive had gatherings they are the best place to get your party pizzas. Sandwiches are great, ive never had that old fry oil taste from anything and they'll customize whatever you want. For lunch they almost always have slices ready to go with cheap quick delivery.“

“Stayed at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet & food at the grill was terrible. Found The Old Fashioned Pancake House Restaurant on Jefferson St in Joliet the next morning and it was amazing. Service was quick, attentive and continuous. Food (breakfast) was simply outstanding and price was very good! I have traveled a lot and this place is a Five Star value in my book.“

“I had a bad experience my first time going after they opened but I gave it another try tonight and I was so impressed with the waitress, I asked her name she said Stephanie and she said she is fairly new, well hopefully you get alot more servers like her she was perfect and so extremely friendly, we will ask to be seated at her tables next time for sure! My first experience the waitress didn't even smile ,I had to ask numerous times for obvious items it was rediculous but definitely going back now also she wasn't just standing around like the last time I went 3 waitresses just chatting and actually had to ask for one of them to take our order after 15 minutes so tonight I give 5 stars last time I gave 1 star“

“We’ve lived in the area for over 8 years and finally stopped here for dinner. The food was delicious - huge portions, the specials include soup and salad and the amazing service from Paulette was absolutely wonderful. I had the ribs - yummy and they fall off the bone. My husband had the chicken Alfredo. He loved it and the portion was huge! Great bang for the buck too. Beer and wine only but that’s all we needed.“

“They went above and beyond for our family. We had about 30 people who decided to go out to dinner after a wake. We called and 15 minutes later they had a huge table set up and did an awesome job of taking care of us. Very impressed with the service we received.“

“Went there for lunch with a friend and our two dogs in the patio. The pups were greeted with cool water in dog dishes right away! The food and service were great! “I have to write a super positive review about a waitress here. This is my favorite place to have a wholesome, down to earth, old-fashioned breakfast or lunch. The food is so tasty and done well but the main reason I comeback is because of the waitress Suzanne! She is so personable and attentive. She lives in the area so you can converse with her about local issues and know she is feeling the pain about things going on in our town right now. She's gentle and funny and really knows her stuff. I depend on her recommendations often. She is a hidden treasure in Joliet and should be recognized for the exceptional job she brings to her job.“

The housemate ordered chicken and broccoli, and the reason we took away a single star, we found a bone in one of her chicken bits. Other than the bone she says it was okay.

The interior of the restaurant was pretty threadbare. Overall a fairly decent place with some good food.“

Our waitress, Julie M., was amazing—so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We had a small issue with a steak being cooked just a touch more than we ordered, but the way it was handled really impressed us. Not only did they take care of it right away with genuine apologies, but they continuously checked in with us while the replacement was being prepared so we never felt like we were waiting and wondering. That kind of service says a lot about how much they truly care about their guests. Between the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic service, we left saying, “Why did we wait so long to stop here?!” We’ll definitely be back—sooner rather than later!“

We ordered a fiesta 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage pizza with black olives on all of it from the New Lenox location. We ordered it well done and the pizza was out of this world. Keep up the excellent work. Our compliments to the chef and the staff. We are very loyal to you. My brother who lives out of state brings back over 20 uncooked pizzas when he goes back.
