“I usually come here once a week when I work from home. I live a block down, so this is a very convenient place. I sometimes get a sandwich or empanada or an iced coffee. But, what I get every
time is their deserts. Frankly, I do not have a sweet tooth, but this place is the exception for that. I always get their tres leches cake and that is my least favorite desert usually, so this is saying something. They had a horchata tres leches cake last year that was SO GOOD and I'm really hoping that comes back soon. They also have different types of cheesecakes (which is my fav desert) so I've tried those too. They usually switch them around, so depending on when you go, they may have them or not. I've tried the Oreo and Reese's Pieces, which were good, but they had a lemon meringue cheesecake and man.... sooooo gooooood. Haven't seen it there in a few weeks, so I'm hoping it makes a comeback soon. I've only eaten in there a couple of times and it's a good vibe. Staff is super friendly and I don't have anything to complain about.“

“Petite Vie was a total "find"! While looking on OpenTable for a dinner spot on Friday, I stumbled across a French restaurant that I didn't know existed. I mentioned it to a few friends and that Sunday we went to Western Springs to check it out. The place is bright, cheery and inviting. We sat at the bar and were waited on by Patrick; bartender, manager, entertainer! The cocktails were creative and awesome, the food (especially the Pork Chasseur) was outstanding and the entire staff was welcoming and helpful. I feel like French food is slowly disappearing from our area, and to find this wonderful place was really fortunate. Please do yourself a favor, book a table and enjoy Petite Vie!“

I ordered the pick 2. My choice was the half a Greek salad and half of the garden Caprese melt sandwich. The Caprese melt was outstanding. It had basil, fresh mozzarella, tomato, arugula, shredded Parmesan and a green goddess dressing
On top of it. There was no skimping on this sandwich. From size and the ingredients.
It was delicious. I have yet to try the Greek salad. I’m saving that for dinner tonight. The half size Caprese Melt was more than enough to have for lunch. I ordered on the Panera app. Fast pickup!

“We just happened to catch the name Carabella on our way from doing some errands and decided to come back and visit the restaurant. To our surprise, this little hidden treasure is our favorite place to eat breakfast. The food is full of flavor, and we aim to try it all but not all at once, of course. Lol 😋It's become our favorite place to come for lunch as well. The other day, we had jibaritos, and they have made it even more delicious than any other place that we have ordered it before. The coquito coffee is so good, and the chicken waffles are just simply my fav. 😍 It's a must try for anyone who enjoys delicious food and great service. So much more, we still need to try. “After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer.
