“I had the pleasure of dining at Rivaj, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The service was top-notch - they were attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. But the real star of the show was the food. Oh, the food! Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, presented, and bursting with flavor. We started with the Paneer Pakora, which was crispy, spicy, and addictive. For my main course, I opted for Malai Kofta, which was cooked to perfection and literally melted in my mouth. And don't even get me started on the Carrot Halwa - it was the perfect sweet treat to cap off the meal. “I just stopped in for lunch carryout, and I am beyond impressed. I picked up a chicken tikka masala rice bowl with a side of chicken samosas and sat down to eat -- the meal became the highlight of my work day.

The rice bowl came with more than enough food to bring some of it home to the family. I didn't offer any inputs on spice level or anything, and it came out with an excellent combination of proper heat and flavor; love was found in every spoon, and I can't wait to try more from their menu. The samosas are deliciously savory and have a nice crisp to them, and come with a sweet sauce that pairs very well. Their prices surprised me! ~$16 for enough food for two people!

It came pre-mixed (not layered)

I do not want to comments on whether its authentic but its delicious and had a different in taste.

Fyi I find their family pack costs more than Nawabi Hyderabad House and doesn’t come with extras except raita“

It tastes just like the ones I have had in India, and I appreciate that they serve additional spicy chili oil to increase the spice per your level. The pav was very soft and the portion size was just right! I was also very impressed with the Solkadhi, which I had never had before. It was so delicious that I could probably drink several of those at once! The last thing I tried was the Khasta Kachori. My husband and I both really enjoyed it as a snack! They serve it with the chutneys and yogurt on the side you can add it according to your taste! I will definitely be back to try their other dishes like pau bhaji, wadapav, mango or chikoo milkshake, and the specialty desserts! Btw, they serve Jain food as well!“

“AMAZAZANG!! I ordered on uber but had to come here to give a review. I had a craving for samosas and obviously had to get butter chicken or Tikka masala and couldn't decide so i got both! The flavors when you combine them is heavenly. The samosas have so much flavor and the garlic Naan is fantastic! Super filling and came with rice that i didnt have to pay for which was a lil surprise. Will order again. Will recommend. Super fresh, almost TOO hot even as a delivery, which is rare. “After our wine tasting, we had reserved a table outside for dinner. The outdoor patio is a very cozy area with heaters if needed. Both my wife and I had ordered short ribs, which were delicious. We were a little hesitant to order the short ribs, last time we had them there they were a bit on a fatty side! The service was good, although the server never brought us bread, rolls, and butter, which they normally do upon arriving, we eventually asked her for bread, but was never brought to us. not a big deal but a little disappointing! “

My favorite was the biryani but it’s a hard choice between the other amazing dishes. It’s a must try restaurant and a great experience for group outings. It offers a wide range of supplies, and I usually find everything I need for my Indian cooking there. From Thursday to Sunday, you must try their snack items—Samosa chaat and pani poori are my favorites. I've never found such authentic flavors anywhere else in the Chicago area.“
