“Really good chicken tikka masala, I asked for naan, he said they didn't have it but they had roti??? I think that's the name. I said ok sure.
It is thinner than naan but really good. Great customer service. There is no dine in at all, only take out. Inside is ok, not much going on.

“Nina's was an excellent value, and tasty - a place I will return to or order from in the future for Indian food. I've been enjoying indian food since I was a child in the 70's, and recently my elder greek aunt mentioned she knew about Nina's and wanted to try it. She's in her early 90's and I knew she had concern for flavors and overly hot spices, so I was initially anxious - yet the menu had many clear options and while I can tolerate medium heat in dishes, I was able to discern helpfully which dishes were significantly spiced and also find out if the spice was hot, or simply aromatic in descriptions - she tried the Goat Biryani and requested it not over-spiced. Portions were excellent, both for her dish and the Chicken Tikka Masala which my wife and I requested, which we stated we liked spice for. They accomplished our dishes well all around and accompanied with delicious crisp veg samosas filled with the usual lovely and tender filling - dipping sauces, garlic naan, and complimentry basmati rice with our tikka dishes. The little gulab jamuun donut balls in sweet sauce was a perfect desert at the end.

My aunt's goat biryani was very pleasantly spiced, not hot but still a nice medley of spice that accompanied the large and tasty pieces of goat - which really pleased my greek aunt and though she ate as much as she could, she still sent half of it home with me and my wife AND took some of it home with herself as left overs! As a standby, we orderded normal chai with cream and sugar and it was excellent, but they have a full bar and selections of indian beers and other beverages, as well as western sodas.

The ambiance as some have mentioned may need a little work, but it was nice tables inside, many two tops, but also enough to handle medium parties as well without rearrangement. Quiet inside, we could hear ourself talk and enjoy the gathering - and though some might feel an indian restaruant needs something like lowly played pleasant music -by and large Nina's cooking did the speaking and it would call us back.“

“Had an amazing experience at Mughal The Biryani House! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The chicken lollipop was perfectly crispy and juicy, the biryani was aromatic and authentic, and the samosa chaat was just outstanding with the right balance of spice and freshness.
We also tried the butter naan with chili chicken, and it was one of the best combinations ever — soft, fresh naan paired with flavorful and spicy chili chicken. Even the drinks were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.

What made the experience even better was the customer service. The Kerala guy who helped us was extremely friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. He had such a warm and welcoming attitude that it genuinely made us feel comfortable and valued as customers.

“I would go here again and again. Food quality is excellent. What can I say about NICK the manager. Outstanding manager. He listens to customer. Make sure we leave place very happy. If you complain about food, he will replace immediately without any questions asked. He makes sure that all the customers are very happy. We order a corn soup, my wife thought it was not spiced up enough. She asked waiter to spiced up. Manager came and told her that this is the way it comes and cannot spice up. He replaced her with another type of soup and did not even charge us for that. Great place to go for diner with family and friends.“

“This place won our hearts during our 4th July long weekend visit to Chicago this year. We were 3 days in Chicago and for all those days, this was our spot for lunch.

The ambience was nice, place was clean & beautiful and the food was just DIVINE! From everything we tried, our favorite dishes were Paneer Lollipop, Malai Kofta, Chicken Chettinad, Benne Dosa, Malabar Parotta, and of course, filter coffee. Must must must visit this place while in Chicago.“

The ambiance of the dining room was also noteworthy, with nicely designed partitions that provided a sense of privacy, making it comfortable for guests to enjoy their meals without feeling crowded. The food spread was truly impressive, with a wide variety of dishes that were fresh, authentic, and flavorful, all served piping hot. The highlight of our meal was the freshly steamed idlis, which were soft and fluffy. Our server, Sai, politely informed us about the batch, and it was a treat to enjoy them straight from the steamer. This attention to detail reminded me of my family's restaurant, where my dad would famously say, "Idlis are never sitting around waiting for customers; instead, our customers patiently wait for fresh idlis steamed to order!" What truly elevated the experience, however, was the personal touch from Chef Divakar and Chef Ramesh, who made rounds through the dining area to ensure everyone was enjoying their meal. They even took the time to share tips on how to properly enjoy their famous layered Parottas with Korma gravy, the authentic way – by generously smothering the Korma onto the Parottas and letting the rich flavors soak in before digging in, a delightful touch! We discovered that this is a chef-owned and operated restaurant, and it's clear that their passion for authentic South Indian cuisine shines through in every dish they serve.
