“This panaderia was small but very practical. We were looking for pan (Mexican sweet bread). We had never been here so if you know, you know panaderias are a hit or miss. We got our favorites, empanadas, tacos, heart sugar cinnamon cookies. The kids loved the sugar cookies, the empanada was strawberry flavors but the jelly was a bit hard. The bread flavor was actually pretty good. The taco was was filled with the sugar that's on top of the conchas.

They had a variety of pan, you should find the pan you like. They also do cakes for events. I would go back. Price wise, it fell a bit expensive for 5 pieces but I can only blame the economy for that.“

Ordered a couple cookies and the Dubai strawberry cup and it’s literally everything! Cookies have the perfect sweetness, a comfort cookie for sure. The Dubai strawberry cup?? I made my husband turn around to get a second cause there was no way I was sharing mine! Dixie was so sweet! She was super informative with the cookie questions we had, and she packed a mean strawberry cup! Shout out to Dixie! Can’t wait for our next trip to Crave. “Shoutout to the Rittenhouse location. We are at Chop with our 4 year old son who just had surgery. I figured after the day we had let’s have some cookies. I placed an order from Levain on door dash. My wife after the long day she had put in the wrong address on the door dash order and the driver called screaming at me and wouldn’t come 1.3 miles to bring them even after explaining the circumstances. Door dash refunded my whole order without me even asking and I called Levain and they went above and beyond. They gave us cookies on the house and even threw in an extra chocolate chip and delivered them to CHOP. Not only are the cookies fabulous the hospitality is second to none. I am a lifelong customer to this location and want to thank everyone at the Rittenhouse location especially Mat who went above and beyond. Thanks again!“

“So, Babe had a taste for a blueberry muffin. We decided to stop in here. They did not have any muffins available at the moment BUT they had a blueberry donut. Needless to say, we walked out with a dozen assorted donuts. I've already eaten 3 and my taste buds are EXTREMELY satisfied 😍 The staff was super friendly and the establishment was very clean. “This is a pick-up only bakery located in Pilsen. We got the caramel Tres leches and coconut Tres leches. Both were really good. The sweetness was perfect and not too much. Would highly recommend this bakery for their wide selection of pastries“

“I would give this a 5 stars, but the cookies are just too unhealthy. I have seen the videos online of how many calories and sugar are in these and it’s appalling. I still get them on occasion, but they are only a once in a while treat and not something you should be getting every week to try out their rotational menu.

“I love an old school Chicago Bakery. You know that feeling when you visit your favorite relative? That’s what it’s like at Impallaria Bakery. You will be greeted with a warm hello and smile when entering. Still family run, they have the best coffee cakes, danishes and donuts this side of the city. You know it’s good when kids stop by on the way to school to grab a donut in the morning. The butter cookies are literally 99%butter and 1% flour and eggs. Don’t hesitate to grab a half pound to eat in the car on the way home.
I’ve have ordered danishes for teacher appreciation or staff meetings and they are always a hit. Flaky pastry with a light drizzle of icing and good balance of filling. The almond crescents are popular.
Old fashioned hand dipped cake donuts are a treat! They also have deli sandwiches which I have yet to order.
Did I mention they have cakes?? Where in the city can you find a fresh cake under $30?????
