“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

“Hello, took my wife to this suburban restaurant inside hotel. She had Brussels sprouts appetizer described as phenomenal and her salmon was great too. I enjoyed the French onion soup and the well prepared Marriott burger! Great to have another dining option in Burr Ridge!“

Only downside, I wish they were a little bigger and on the online menu it pictured it came with coleslaw. It did come with fries that were nice and crispy. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“Really nice place for real good food. My family and I stopped in after a trip into town for an escape room. We had the foghorn chicken sandwich, burger, mashed pot and gravy, tenders, nuggets, and fries. The burger and mashed we're recommended by staff and were terrific.

“I've been a regular at the Country House for years now, and I have to say, their burgers are my absolute favorite! They're simply delicious. And you can't go wrong with their onion rings either. I also really enjoy having the roasted veggies as a side dish instead of fries, especially when the weather is nice. And of course, the cheese curd appetizer is always a great option.“

Our table was not ready at our reservation time, no issue but they forgot to come get us from the bar and I had to go back and ask if our table was ready 20 minutes later. Our server was great but the wait for everything we ordered was quite long, had to be reminded that we ordered tea, he had to check on the appetizers as they were not brought to the table, then the entrees were brought while we were still working on apps. I am also not a fan of kiosks on tables at upscale resturants.“

I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

“George’s has been ‘Lockport’…..everyone goes to George’s. Love the place!! Been going there for years! Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“
