“Last summer we stopped a Mission BBQ in Chattanooga on the recommendation of friend that lives there. It was soooooo good and we have been craving it ever since. On Friday we decided to drive 2.5 hours to this location, from just west of Des Moines, as it is the closest one to us. It was also sooooo good! Staff were great and very attentive!”

“Sometimes there sold out of cookies. But that’s ight. The employees seem sad sometimes. But that’s probably because they have to deal with some crappy customers. They also have another option if there out of a cookie, or will compensate somehow. The one thing that I’m not a big fan of, is sometimes the store looks a bit dirty. Otherwise, the employees try their best, and the cookies are pretty good. If they have them.”

“Stayed in the QC last night, up from Florida, and drove by this place late evening.... Decided to stop in and give it a try .... It was WONDERFUL!! .... I arrived and the place was PACKED!! .... Only a short wait to be seated ... The staff work as a great team helping each other out ... Food was brought pretty quickly considering how busy they were .... Got the farmers omelet and pancakes in place of the toast ... Look at those pancakes ... Light, fluffy, and the syrup was even warm .... The omelet was equally good ... I suggest y'all give them a try yourselves.”

“We came from Dubuque Iowa, what a treat it was! So very happy we went! Seen a video of the place and told my husband this place looks very cool and it’s so big- let’s go! So we did and we couldn’t wait to see John John again; added bonus , CC was there too ❤️ !! So inviting and felt like royalty! What sweet and amazing team they have down there! Everyone is so smiley helpful and kind! When we got our food - very tasty delightful and beautiful! Everything was great the appetizers, sushi and OMG THE LAVA CAKE with ice cream!!! TOOOOOI YUMMY!! We will be coming here more often! Yes it is a little trip to get there but well worth it!! Extremely happy and I would recommend Kobe Sushi and Hibachi for sure! You’re missing out if you don’t go!! “I’m Chicago born and raised, so yeah—I don’t play about my pizza. Deep dish, tavern-style, Sicilian… I love it all. So when my friends kept talking up Smash Pizza, we decided to try it for Mother’s Day. It’s a cute, smaller spot, so just know you might have to wait or do takeout. But the staff made it worth it—our waitress (purple ponytail, wish I caught her name!) was so warm and helpful with recommendations. We started with the bread plate, and listen…that alone was a win. Fresh bread, olive oil, butter, burrata—honestly didn’t even need the extras, it was that good. Now the pizza. I was a little skeptical because Chicago folks know—we like our crust thin with a little crunch. But we went with their Sicilian style and I’m so glad we did. That crust? Light, airy, crispy…nothing like that chain pizza pan crust. Just done right. We got the Queen, and my son tried the mushroom and fried kale. I don’t even like mushrooms, but that fried kale? So good—crispy, flavorful, perfect texture. Everything tasted fresh. Like, really fresh. Hell, even the water tasted fresh, lbs! All in all, this place is legit. I haven’t had pizza like that in a long time—it really reminded me of home. If you’re thinking about going, just go. It’s worth it.”
